Abstract
Siswa kelas XI Pengembangan Perangkat Lunak dan Gim SMK Igasar Pindad saat ini mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami teori dasar Pemrograman Web yang dipenuhi istilah dan konsep teknis yang harus dikuasai. Proses pembelajaran yang ada masih sebatas pemberian materi teori tanpa adanya kesempatan untuk mempraktikkannya dengan media interaktif lain dan soal-soal yang kontekstual. Hal ini disebabkan karena keterbatasan media pembelajaran digital interaktif yang ada di sekolah serta keterbatasan kepemilikan laptop siswa. Akibatnya, pemahaman dan minat belajar siswa terhadap materi Pemrograman Web menjadi rendah. Salah satu solusinya adalah memanfaatkan smartphone yang dimiliki siswa sebagai media pembelajaran alternatif. Oleh karena itu dikembangkan aplikasi mobile interaktif bernama Koseru (Koding Seru) untuk pembelajaran Pemrograman Web. Aplikasi ini menyajikan materi Pengenalan Web, HTML, CSS, dan PHP melalui kuis interaktif agar mudah dipelajari dan dipahami siswa. Aplikasi mobile pembelajaran interaktif dengan menerapkan metode Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) model Luther-Sutopo yang terdiri dari enam tahapan, yaitu concept, design, material collecting, assembly, testing, dan distribution. Tampilan dan konten disajikan secara menarik layaknya game sehingga siswa dapat belajar sambil bermain secara gratis dan dalam mode offline tanpa koneksi internet. Koseru terbukti sangat layak untuk digunakan berdasarkan hasil pengujian alpha oleh ahli materi (95%) dan ahli media (77%), serta pengujian beta kepada 25 siswa SMK (86,36%). Dengan demikian, aplikasi mobile ini dapat menjadi solusi alternatif untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan pemahaman materi Pemrograman Web pada siswa SMK dengan lebih efektif dan efisien. ----------- The 11th-grade students majoring in Software and Game Development at SMK Igasar Pindad are currently having difficulties in comprehending the basic theories of Web Programming which are filled with technical terms and concepts that must be mastered. The existing learning process is limited to delivering theoretical materials without any opportunity to practice them with other interactive media and contextual problems. This is due to the limited availability of digital interactive learning media at schools and students’ limited laptop ownership. As a result, students’ understanding of and interest in learning Web Programming materials has become low. One solution is to take advantage of students’ smartphones as an alternative learning medium. Therefore, an interactive mobile learning application called Koseru (Fun Coding) was developed for learning Web Programming. This application presents introductory web, HTML, CSS, and PHP materials through interactive quizzes for easy learning and comprehension by students. This interactive mobile learning application was developed by implementing the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) Luther-Sutopo model which consists of six stages: concept, design, material collecting, assembly, testing, and distribution. The display and content are presented attractively like a game so that students can learn while playing for free and in offline mode without an internet connection. Koseru has proven to be very feasible for use based on alpha test results by material experts (95%) and media experts (77%), as well as beta testing on 25 vocational high school students (86.36%). Thus, this mobile application can be an alternative solution to increase motivation and understanding of Web Programming materials for vocational high school students more effectively and efficiently.
