Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi untuk mengetahui kondisi sebelum melakukan metode reward and punishment. Berdasarkan hal ini ditemukan di SDN Kesatrian untuk meningkatkan karakter displin siswa melalui metode reward and punishment, agar siswa lebih disiplin, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kondisi sebelum menerapkan metode reward and punishment. proses penerapan reward and punishment untuk meningkatkan karakter disiplin sekolah anak dan sesudah penerapan reward and punishment pada karakter disiplin sekola. Dalam penelitian ini, penerapan teknik mengutamakan pada pemberian reward bukan pada konsekuensinya. Setiap kali tindakan pelaku sesuai arahan. Namun, pihak penerapan reward and punishment akan memberikan penguatan setiap saat perilaku yang ditampilkan menetap. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan model analisis Milles & Huberman yang dilakukan secara interaktif dan berkesinambungan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan penerapan Metode reward and punishment dalam meningkatkan karakter disiplin pembelajaran anak di SDN Kesatrian . Untuk mempermudah penerapan metode reward and punishment pada anak usia dini. Peneliti menerapkan metode dengan karakter disiplin sekolah pada siklus I dan pada siklus II karakter disiplin sekolah. Presentase karakter disiplin. pembelajaran anak pada siklus I yaitu 77,1% menjadi 79% pada siklus II. Saran untuk peneliti lainnya agar bisa melakukan peningkatan dalam karakter displin siswa melalui metode reward and punishment dalam pembelajaran IPS dan menciptakan inovasi baru. This research was motivated by knowing the conditions before implementing the reward and punishment method. Based on this, it was found at Kesatrian Elementary School to improve students' disciplined character through the reward and punishment method, so that students are more disciplined, this research aims to determine the conditions before implementing the reward and punishment method. the process of implementing reward and punishment to improve the character of children's school discipline and after applying reward and punishment to the character of school discipline. In this research, the application of techniques prioritizes giving rewards, not consequences. Every time the perpetrator's actions are in accordance with directions. However, those implementing reward and punishment will provide reinforcement every time the behavior shown persists. The method used in this research is Classroom Action Research (PTK). The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis in this research uses the Milles & Huberman analysis model which is carried out interactively and continuously. The results of this research show the application of the reward and punishment method in improving the disciplinary character of children's learning at Kesatrian Elementary School. To make it easier to apply the reward and punishment method to early childhood. The researcher applied a method with the character of school discipline in cycle I and in cycle II the character of school discipline. Disciplinary character percentage. children's learning in cycle I was 77.1% to 79% in cycle II. Suggestions for other researchers to improve students' disciplinary character through reward and punishment methods in social studies learning and creating new innovations.
