Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh fakta di lapangan mengenai kurangnya kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa kelas I dan tidak terlaksananya pemanfaatan media digital oleh guru di era digitalisasi ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain kuasi eksperimen non equivalent control grup design. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui perbedaan rata-rata siswa yang menggunakan aplikasi Sekolah Enuma dengan pendekatan EMRED terhadap peningkatan kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa dengan siswa yang hanya mendapatkan pembelajaran konvensional. Populasi yang diambil yaitu siswa kelas I SDN 06 Tambun, dengan sampel dua kelas yang berbeda di satu sekolah yang sama yaitu lima belas siswa kelas 1C dan lima belas siswa kelas 1B. Hasil analisis data pretest dan posttest kelas eksperimen menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa kelas I SD dengan menggunakan aplikasi Sekolah Enuma dengan pendekatan EMRED. Nilai rerata hasil posttest di kelas kontrol sebesar 4,9 sedangkan kelas eksperimen nilai rerata hasil posttest yaitu sebesar 6,3. Selisih rerata kedua kelas tersebut 1,4. Pada uji normalitas mendapatkan nilai signifikansi (Sig) pada tes pretest sebesar 0.052  0,05 dan tes posttest 0,063  0,05. Bahwa jika nilainya di atas 0,05 maka dinyatakan data berdistribusi normal, Hasil yang didapat dengan hasil hipotesis uji Independent sample test pada kelas eksperimen mendapat nilai signifikansi 2-tailed yaitu sebesar <0,001 < 0,05 yang berarti Ho ditolak, Maka dapat disimpulkan terdapat perbedaan rata-rata hasil dari kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol sehingga bahwa adanya pengaruh dari penggunaan Aplikasi Sekolah Enuma dengan pendekatan EMRED terhadap peningkatan kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa kelas I pada kelas eksperimen. -- This study was motivated by the facts in the field regarding the lack of first grade students' beginning reading skills and the non-implementation of digital media utilization by teachers in this digitalization era. This study used a quasi-experimental design of non-equivalent control group design. The purpose of this study was to determine the average difference between students who used the Enuma School application with the EMRED approach to improve students' beginning reading skills and students who only received conventional learning. The population taken is grade I students of SDN 06 Tambun, with a sample of two different classes in the same school, namely fifteen students of class 1C and fifteen students of class 1B. The results of the pretest and posttest data analysis of the experimental class showed an increase in the initial reading ability of grade I elementary school students by using the Enuma School application with the EMRED approach. The mean value of posttest results in the control class was 4.9 while the experimental class mean value of posttest results was 6.3. The difference between the means of the two classes is 1.4. In the normality test, the significance value (Sig) in the pretest test was 0.052> 0.05 and the posttest test was 0.063> 0.05. That if the value is above 0.05, it is stated that the data is normally distributed, the results obtained with the hypothesis results of the Independent sample test in the experimental class got a 2-tailed significance value of <0.001 <0.05 which means Ho is rejected, so it can be concluded that there is a difference in the average results of the experimental class and the control class so that there is an effect of using the Enuma School Application with the EMRED approach on improving the initial reading skills of grade I students in the experimental class.
