Abstract
Temuan awal menunjukan bahwa sebagian peserta didik tidak menyukai pelajaran matematika dan mengakibatkan antusiasme peserta didik berkurang. Pada proses pembelajaran berlangsung guru hanya menggunakan media seadaanya dan keterbatasan media pembelajaran matematika , sehingga kurang menunjang proses pembelajaran. Selain itu, belum ada media kartu kuartet sifat-sifat bangun ruang di sekolah tersebut. Oleh karena itu, peneliti bermaksud mengembangkan media kartu kuartet sifat-sifat bangun ruang sebagai solusi dari permasalahan yang ada. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mendeskripsikan kebutuhan pada media kartu kuartet sifat-sifat bangun ruang, mendeskripsikan rancangan media kartu kuartet sifat-sifat bangun ruang, mendeskripsikan uji kerlayakan media kartu kuartet sifat-sifat bangun ruang, dan produk akhir dari media kartu kuartet sifat-sifat bangun ruang. Metode pada penelitian ini yaitu Educational Design Research (EDR) dengan model McKeeney & Reeves yang terdiri dari 3 tahap yaitu analisis dan eksplorasi, desain dan kontruksi, evaluasi dan refleksi. Penilitian ini memperoleh hasil validasi produk media kartu kuartet melaui tahap validasi oleh para ahli dan dikatakan layak untuk diuji cobakan. Selanjutnya, hasil uji coba media dikatakan layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran. Sehingga mengahasilkan produk akhir pada penelitian ini adalah media kartu kuartet berisi materi sifat-sifat bangun ruang untuk peserta didik kelas V Sekolah Dasar. This research is based on a preliminary study at SDN 1 Sukamanah regarding mathematics learning media, especially the material of the properties of building spaces. Initial findings show that some students do not like math lessons and result in reduced enthusiasm of students. In the learning process, the teacher only uses makeshift media and limited math learning media, so that it does not support the learning process. In addition, there is no quartet card media for the properties of building space in the school. Therefore, the researcher intends to develop a quartet card media of the properties of building space as a solution to the existing problems. The purpose of this study is to describe the needs of the media quartet cards of the properties of space, describe the design of the media quartet cards of the properties of space, describe the feasibility test of the media quartet cards of the properties of space, and the final product of the media quartet cards of the properties of space. The method in this research is Educational Design Research (EDR) with the McKeeney & Reeves model which consists of 3 stages, namely analysis and exploration, design and construction, evaluation and reflection. This research obtained the results of validation of quartet card media products through the validation stage by experts and said to be suitable for testing. Furthermore, the results of media trials are said to be feasible to use as learning media. So that the final product in this study is a quartet card media containing material on the properties of building space for grade V elementary school students.
