Abstract

Berbagai macam perubahan pada sektor pendidikan mengalami penyesuaian dan perbaikan kembali setelah masa pandemi Covid-19. Kendala yang dialami oleh guru berkenaan mengenai karakter sikap dan kepribadian siswa. Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk memberikan penguatan karakter siswa yaitu melalui pembentukan regulasi diri siswa dengan menciptakan suasana belajar yang menarik melalui media audio visual serial animasi Riko The Series. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk menuju keberhasilan pembelajaran karakter siswa melalui pembiasaan kegiatan serta pengamalan nilai-nilai agar sesuai dengan tujuan belajar yang ditentukan. Pendekatan yang digunakan yaitu pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode analisis isi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, wawancara, studi dokumentasi, dan angket. Melalui pembelajaran nilai karakter regulasi diri siswa, pembentukan karakter yang menjadi kepribadian siswa lebih mudah diimplementasikan karena tayangan animasi Riko The Series banyak memberikan contoh nilai karakter yang berlaku di masyarakat. Hasil yang didapatkan dari penelitian ini yaitu adanya implikasi dari pemberian tayangan animasi berupa pemahaman pengetahuan serta contoh pengamalan yang mudah untuk diberikan kepada siswa mengenai nilai karakter yang berhubungan dengan regulasi diri siswa. Various kinds of changes in the education sector have been adjusted and improved again after the Covid-19 pandemic. The obstacles experienced by teachers are related to the character, attitude, and personality of students. One of the efforts that can be made to strengthen student character is through the formation of student self-regulation by creating an interesting learning atmosphere through the audio-visual media of the animated series Riko The Series. The purpose of this study is to lead to the success of student character learning through habituation of activities and the practice of values to be in accordance with the specified learning objectives. The approach used is a qualitative approach with content analysis methods. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, documentation studies, and questionnaires. Through learning the character value of student self-regulation, the formation of character that becomes the student's personality is easier to implement because the animated show Riko The Series provides many examples of character values that apply in society. The results obtained from this study are the implications of providing animated shows in the form of understanding knowledge and examples of practice that are easy to give to students about character values related to student self-regulation.
