Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi perkembangan teknologi digital yang dapat dimanfaatkan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran sejarah dan pengaruhnya terhadap kemampuan literasi digital siswa di kelas. Dengan adanya permasalahan tersebut, peneliti ingin melihat keterhubungan antara penggunaan tayangan Inspect History sebagai sumber belajar terhadap kemampuan literasi digital siswa dalam pembelajaran sejarah. Literasi digital menjadi hal yang sangat penting karena di tengah derasnya informasi yang dapat diakses oleh siswa melalui media digital, siswa perlu untuk menyaring informasi yang akan digunakan. Untuk melihat keterhubungan antara penggunaan tayangan Inspect History dan kemampuan literasi digital siswa, peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, metode kuasi eksperimen, dan time series design. Penelitian ini dilakukan di kelas XII IPS SMAN 1 Bandung dengan dua kali pemberian perlakuan. Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini antara lain: 1) melihat perbedaan kemampuan literasi digital siswa sebelum dan setelah diberi perlakuan, 2) melihat peningkatan kemampuan literasi digital siswa setelah diberi perlakuan, 3) mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh penggunaan tayangan Inspect History terhadap kemampuan literasi digital siswa. Setelah pemberian perlakuan serta pengolahan data statistik menggunakan perhitungan Paired Sample T test dan regresi didapatkan hasil bahwa: 1) terdapat perbedaan kemampuan literasi digital siswa setelah diberi perlakuan, 2) terjadi peningkatan kemampuan literasi dIgital siswa setelah diberi perlakuan, 3) terdapat pengaruh penggunaan tayangan Inspect History terhadap kemampuan literasi digital siswa. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan tayangan Inspect History sebagai sumber belajar sejarah berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan literasi digital siswa. Kata Kunci: Tayangan Inspect History, kemampuan literasi digital, sumber belajar sejarah, pembelajaran sejarah. This research is motivated by the development of digital technology that can be utilized in history learning activities and its influence on students' digital literacy in the classroom. Given these problems, researcher wants to find out a connection between the use of Inspect History as a learning resource and students' digital literacy skills in learning history. Digital literacy is very important because with the abundance of information that can be accessed by students through digital media, students need to filter the information they will use. To examine the connection between the use of video content from Inspect History and students' digital literacy skills, the researcher used a quantitative approach, quasi-experimental method, and time series design. This research was conducted on XII IPS students at SMAN 1 Bandung with two treatments. The aims of this research include: 1) Found differences in students' digital literacy abilities before and after being given treatment, 2) Observing differences in students' digital literacy abilities before and after being given treatment, 3) Discover whether there is an influence of using inspect history on students' digital literacy skills. After providing treatment and processing statistical data using paired sample T test calculation and regression, the results obtained were: 1) There were differences in students' digital literacy abilities after being given treatment, 2) There was increase in students' digital literacy skills after being given treatment, 3) There was influence of using Inspect History video content on students' digital literacy skills. In conclusion, the use of Inspect History as a history learning resource has an influence on students' digital literacy skills.
