Abstract

Penelitian pengembangan ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis sustainable yang digunakan oleh guru terutama pada materi keberagaman budaya di Indonesia dan keterbatasan pengalaman langsung yang dialami menyebabkan peserta didik kurang antusias dalam memahami dan mengetahui tentang keberagaman budaya daerah. Penelitian ini mengembangkan media pembelajaran video animasi pop-up book keberagaman budaya di Indonesia. Tujuan dari pengembangan media pembelajaran ini yaitu untuk menghasilkan sebuah produk media pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan dalam menunjang proses pembelajaran IPS khususnya materi keberagaman budaya di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode design and development dengan prosedur penelitian menggunakan model ADDIE yang terdiri dari lima tahapan yaitu tahap analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu wawancara, angket untuk ahli dan angket respons pengguna. Partisipan penelitian ini melibatkan ahli yaitu ahli materi dan ahli media sebagai validator serta pengguna yaitu guru dan 25 orang peserta didik kelas IV untuk memberikan respons terhadap penggunaan media. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tingkat kelayakan dari para ahli sebesar 79,6% dengan kategori layak dan mendapatkan respons penilaian dari pengguna sebesar 97,7% dengan kategori sangat layak. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa media animasi pop-up book layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran IPS di Kelas IV SD. --------- This development research is motivated by the lack of use of sustainable-based learning media used by teachers, especially in material on cultural diversity in Indonesia and the limited direct experience experienced which causes students to be less enthusiastic in understanding and knowing about regional cultural diversity. This research develops pop-up book animation video learning media on cultural diversity in Indonesia. The aim of developing this learning media is to produce a learning media product that can be used to support the social studies learning process, especially material on cultural diversity in Indonesia. This research uses the design and development method with research procedures using the ADDIE model which consists of five stages, namely the analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation stages. The data collection techniques used were interviews, expert questionnaires and user response questionnaires. Participants in this research involved experts, namely material experts and media experts as validators, as well as users, namely teachers and 25 class IV students, to provide responses to media use. The research results showed that the feasibility level from experts was 79.6% in the feasible category and received an assessment response from users of 97.7% in the very feasible category. Based on the results of this research, it can be concluded that pop-up book animation media is suitable for use in the social studies learning process in Class IV Elementary School.
