Abstract

Keterampilan abad ke-21 menjadi salah satu kebutuhan yang diperlukan dalam persaingan kerja Era Industri 4.0. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan konstruksi keterampilan abad ke-21 melalui penyelenggaraan pentas seni sekolah. Penelitian ini menganalisis bagaimana siswa dapat mengonstruksi keterampilan abad ke-21 melalui pentas seni di sekolah. Lokasi penelitian ini adalah SMA Global Islamic School 2 Serpong dan SMA Islam Al-Azhar BSD Serpong. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode fenomenologi. Partisipan kunci pada penelitian ini adalah panitia siswa pentas seni. Siswa alumni panitia pada tahun-tahun sebelumnya dan guru selaku panitia pengarah menjadi partisipan pendukung pada penelitian ini. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan diantaranya wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Setelah pengumpulan data, penelitian ini menganalisisnya dengan melakukan kondensasi yang dibantu dengan software NVIVO 12, menyimpulkan, dan menyajikan. Keabsahan data dilakukan dengan beberapa cara yaitu triangulasi sumber, triangulasi teknik, dan member check. Teori konstruksi sosial digunakan sebagai pisau analisis utama penelitian ini. Hasil yang ditemukan adalah (1) siswa melakukan berbagai aktivitas manajemen acara serta berkaitan dengan keterampilan abad ke-21, (2) siswa mendapatkan pengalaman dialektika konstruksi keterampilan abad ke-21 terutama keterampilan 4C (Creative, Critical thinking, Communication, & Collaboration) selama menyelenggarakan pentas seni, dan (3) dampaknya adalah siswa dapat mengimplementasikan keterampilan abad ke-21 pada kehidupan sosialnya. Penelitian ini dapat dijadikan sebagai referensi untuk mengembangkan keterampilan abad ke-21 di sekolah yang secara ringkas disampaikan melalui model konstruksi keterampilan abad ke-21 melalui penyelenggaraan pentas seni sekolah pada akhir pembahasan penelitian ini. The skills of the 21st-century are becoming one of the necessary requirements in the industrial 4.0 era of job competition. This research aims to describe the construction of 21st-century skills through the performing arts at schools. This study analyzes how students can construct 21st-century skills through the performing arts at schools. The locations of this research are Global Islamic School 2 Serpong and Islamic High School Al-Azhar BSD Serpong. This research uses qualitative approaches and phenomenological methods. The key participant in this study was the performing arts student committee. Alumni students of the committee in previous years and teachers of the board of directors became supportive participants in this research. Data collection techniques used include in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation. After the data is collected, the research analyzes it by condensing with NVIVO 12 software, concluding, and presenting the data. Data validation is done in several ways: source triangulation, technique triangulation, and member check. Social construction theory is used as the main analysis tool in this study. The results were: (1) students conducting various event management activities related to 21st-century skills; (2) students gaining dialectics of 21st-century skills construction, especially 4C skills (Creative, Critical thinking, Communication, and Collaboration) during performing arts organizations; and (3) the impact is that students can implement 21st-century skills in their social lives. This research can be used as a reference for developing 21st-century skills in schools that are briefly presented through the construction of a 21st-century skills model through performing arts maintenance at the end of this discussion.
