Abstract

Kemampuan berpikir kritis merupakan dasar penting dalam pengajaran pembelajaran matematika, yang berada dalam ranah kognitif. Di samping itu, guru juga perlu mempertimbangkan aspek afektif, yakni kemandirian dalam belajar siswa. Namun, meskipun penting, kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kemandirian belajar masih harus ditingkatkan. Riset ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efek dan efisiensi pembelajaran Matematika berbasis Microlearning berbantuan Learning Management System terhadap peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kemandirian belajar pada siswa sekolah dasar. Metode riset yang digunakan adalah kuasi-eksperimen dengan desain pretest-posttest control-group. Dalam riset ini, 40 siswa dari sebuah sekolah dasar di Kabupaten Purwakarta menjadi partisipan. Temuan riset menunjukkan bahwa 1) Terdapat perbedaan pencapaian kemampuan berpikir kritis yang memperoleh pendekatan berbasis Microlearning berbantuan LMS dibandingkan pembelajaran konvensional. 2) Tidak terdapat perbedaan kemandirian belajar yang memperoleh pendekatan berbasis Microlearning berbantuan LMS dibandingkan pembelajaran konvensional. Maka, disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran tersebut dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis, namun kurang meningkatkan dalam ranah kemandirian belajar. Hal ini dikarenakan kurangnya pengawasan guru dan kontrol orang tua ketika di rumah. Critical thinking ability is a crucial foundation in mathematics teaching and learning, which falls within the cognitive domain. Additionally, teachers also need to consider the affective aspect, namely self regulated learning. However, despite its importance, critical thinking skills and self regulated learning still need to be enhanced. This research aims to evaluate the effects and efficiency of Mathematics learning based on Microlearning assisted by a Learning Management System on the improvement of critical thinking skills and self regulated learning in elementary school students. The research method used is quasi-experimental with a pretest-posttest control-group design. In this research, 40 students from an elementary school in Purwakarta Regency participated. The research findings indicate that 1) There is a difference in the average critical thinking ability of those who received Microlearning-based LMS-assisted approaches compared to conventional learning. 2) There is no difference in self regulated learning among those who received Microlearning-based LMS-assisted approaches compared to conventional learning. Therefore, it is concluded that such learning can enhance critical thinking skills but may not sufficiently improve self regulated learning. This is due to the lack of teacher supervision and parental control at home.
