Abstract

Kegiatan menggambar di sekolah dasar seyogyanya mampu meningkatkan kreativitas dan imajinasi siswa. Kegiatan pembelajaran tersebut memerlukan metode yang variatif agar kreativitas dan imajinasi siswa berkembang dengan baik. Salah satu metode yang dapat diterapkan yaitu metode proses kreatif. Metode ini terdiri dari enam tahapan yakni penyadaran, persiapan, inkubasi, iluminasi, verifikasi, dan tindakan kreatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran mengenai ada atau tidaknya pengaruh dari penerapan metode proses kreatif terhadap kreativitas mengambar imajinatif siswa kelas II SD. Pendekatan dalam penelitian ini yaitu kuantitatif dengan jenis kuasi eksperimen dan desain the nonequivalent pre-test and post-test control-group. Adapun populasi penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas II SDN Cibiru 09 tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Sampel penelitiannya terdiri dari kelas II A sebagai kelompok kontrol yang menggunakan metode pembelajaran konvensional dan kelas II B sebagai kelompok eksperimen yang menggunakan metode pembelajaran proses kreatif. Data penelitian ini diperoleh dari pre-test dan post-test kreativitas menggambar imajinatif siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) secara statistik, pembelajaran dengan metode proses kreatif memiliki pengaruh terhadap kreativitas menggambar imajinatif siswa kelas II SD; (2) tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kreativitas menggambar imajinatif siswa yang menggunakan metode proses kreatif dengan metode konvensional. Namun, peningkatan rerata kreativitas pada kelas eksperimen disimpulkan lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol. ------------- Drawing activities should be able to develope students' creativity and imagination so that the appropriate method is needed to strive for it. One method that can be applied is the creative-process method. This method consists of six stages, namely awareness, preparation, incubation, illumination, verification, and creative action. The method was applied to provide an overview of whether or not there is a significant effect in applying the creative-process method in students’ imaginative drawing creativity. The research is aimed for second graders in elementary school. The approach used was quantitative with the type of quasi experiment and the nonequivalent pre-test and post-test control-group design. The population of this study was second graders of SDN Cibiru 09 in the 2023/2024 academic year. The samples consisted of two groups, namely class II A as a control group using conventional learning methods and class II B as an experimental group using creative-process learning methods. The data of this study were obtained from the pre-test and post-test of students' imaginative drawing creativity. The results showed that (1) statistically, learning with the creative process method had an influence on the students’ imaginative drawing creativity in second grade of elementary school; (2) There was no significant difference between the imaginative drawing creativity of students using the creative-process method and the conventional method. However, the average creativity had been increased higher in the experimental class rather than in the control class.
