Abstract

Pemahaman siswa dalam materi jenis – jenis usaha dan kegiatan ekonomi masih sangat rendah dikarenakan materi yang cukup sulit untuk difahami. Berdasarkan hasil pra siklus yang telah dilaksanakan oleh guru kelas V SDN Segara Makmur 01 bahwa terdapat nilai rata – rata siswa 65,86 dan persentase ketuntasan 21,62% dengan nilai terendah 33. Peneliti akan menggunakan model kooperatif jigsaw berbantu media wordwall sebagai inovasi dalam pembelajaran dengan mengupayakan adanya perbaikan untuk pemahaman siswa pada materi IPS pokok bahasan jenis – jenis usaha dan kegiatan ekonomi. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian tindakan kelas dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Pada pelaksanaan tindakan kelas ini peneliti menggunakan PTK model Kemmis & Mc Taggart. Teknik pengumpulan data yang akan peneliti gunakan dalam penelitian ini, yaitu tes hasil belajar, observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan peneliti dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan model interaktif dari Milles dan Hubberman. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dua siklus, pada siklus I peneliti melakukan sebanyak dua kali pertemuan dengan satu kali pelaksanaan tes dan siklus II dilaksanakan sebanyak tiga kali pertemuan dengan dua kali pelaksanaan tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya perbaikan pada pemahaman siswa yang signifikan. Pada siklus I nilai rata – rata pengetahuan 70,68 dengan persentase ketuntasan 40,54%, Siklus II rata – rata pengetahuan membaik menjadi 84,05 dengan persentase ketuntasan 81,08%, Akhir Siklus adanya sedikit perbaikan dengan rata – rata pengetahuan 84,46 dan persentase ketuntasan 83,78%. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model kooperatif jigsaw berbantu media wordwall dapat memperbaiki pemahaman siswa pada materi IPS kelas V SDN Segara Makmur 01 tahun pelajaran 2023/2024. Students' understanding of the material on types of business and economic activities is still very low because the material is quite difficult to understand. Based on the pre-cycle results carried out by the fifth grade teacher at SDN Segara Makmur 01, there was an average student score of 65.86 and a completion percentage of 21.62% with the lowest score being 33. Researchers will use the cooperative jigsaw model assisted by wordwall media as an innovation in learning by seeking to improve students' understanding of social studies material on the subject of types of business and economic activities. This research uses a type of classroom action research using a qualitative approach. In implementing this classroom action, the researcher used the Kemmis & Mc Taggart PTK model. The data collection techniques that researchers will use in this research are learning outcomes tests, observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used by researchers in this research is qualitative with the interactive model from Milles and Hubberman. This research was carried out in two cycles, in cycle I the researcher held two meetings with one test and in cycle II there were three meetings with two tests. The results of the research showed that there was a significant improvement in student understanding. In cycle I the average knowledge value was 70.68 with a completeness percentage of 40.54%, in Cycle II the average knowledge improved to 84.05 with a completeness percentage of 81.08%, at the end of the cycle there was a slight improvement with an average knowledge of 84, 46 and a completion percentage of 83.78%. So it can be concluded that the application of the jigsaw cooperative model assisted by wordwall media can improve students' understanding of social studies material for class V SDN Segara Makmur 01 for the 2023/2024 academic year.
