Abstract

Keberhasilan pendidikan di sekolah dapat dilihat melalui prestasi belajar yang diraih oleh para siswa. Terdapat dua faktor penting yang mempengaruhi siswa dalam prestasi di sekolah yaitu guru, dan juga kepercayaan diri yang dimiliki oleh siswa itu sendiri. Skripsi ini menyajikan hasil penelitian yang ditujukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari gaya mengajar guru dan kepercayaan diri siswa terhadap prestasi belajar siswa fase F elemen komunikasi di tempat kerja kompetensi manajemen perkantoran dan layanan bisnis (MPLB). Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah explanatory survey dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui penyebaran angket kepada 70 siswa fase F MPLB. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan inferensial. Hasil analisis statistik deskriptif menunjukan variabel gaya mengajar guru dan kepercayaan diri siswa berada pada kategori efektif, dan variabel prestasi belajar siswa berada pada kategori tinggi. Adapun analisis statistik inferensial menunjukan bahwa variabel gaya mengajar guru dan kepercayaan diri berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar siswa. Akan tetapi indikator interaksional pada variabel gaya mengajar guru dan indikator optimis pada variabel kepercayaan diri siswa harus ditingkatkan karena memiliki nilai terendah. Upaya yang dapat dilakukan ialah dengan menciptakan metode pembelajaran yang dialogis, mengapresiasi dan juga memotivasi para siswanya. There are two important factors that influence students in school achievement, namely the teacher, and the confidence possessed by the students themselves. This thesis presents the results of research aimed at determining the effect of teacher teaching style and student confidence on student learning achievement in phase F of communication elements in the workplace competency of office management and business services (MPLB). The research method used in this study is an explanatory survey with a quantitative approach. Research data were obtained through distributing questionnaires to 70 MPLB phase F students. The data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential analysis. The results of descriptive statistical analysis showed that the variables of teacher teaching style and student confidence were in the effective category, and the student learning achievement variable was in the high category. The inferential statistical analysis shows that the variables of teacher teaching style and self-confidence have a positive and significant effect on student learning achievement. However, the interactional indicator on the teacher's teaching style variable and the optimistic indicator on the student confidence variable must be improved because they have the lowest score. Efforts that can be made are by creating a dialogical learning method, appreciate and motivating students. Keywords: Teacher teaching style, self-confidence, learning achievement
