Abstract

Motivasi belajar merupakan peran penting dalam proses belajar siswa. Siswa yang memiliki motivasi belajar yang tinggi akan lebih berprestasi. Pada tahun 2017 diadakannya perubahan Penerimaan Peserta Didik Baru (PPDB) dan ternyata adanya penurunan motivasi belajar pada siswa. Maka perlu ada dukungan sosial dan kesejahteraan subjebtif yang menjadi kunci agar motivasi belajar dapat terjaga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh dukungan sosial dan kesejahteraan subjektif terhadap motivasi belajar siswa SMA dengan jalur masuk PPDB di Sukabumi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional. Sementara itu, teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah teknik convenience sampling dengan jumlah partisipan sebanyak 388 siswa SMA kelas 1-3. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Child And Adolescent Sosial Support Scale (CASSS) untuk mengukur dukungan sosial, Multidimensional Students’ Life Satisfaction Scale (MSLSS dari Huebner versi 2001) untuk mengukur kesejahteraan subjektif, Motivated Strategist for Learning Questionnaire (MSLQ) untuk mengukur motivasi belajar. Hasil pengolahan data menggunakan regresi sederhana dan regresi linear berganda menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh dukungan sosial dan kesejahteraan subjektif terhadap motivasi belajar siswa SMA. Selain itu juga terdapat perbedaan motivasi dengan jalur masuk PPDB di Sukabumi, jalur berprestasi lebih tinggi daripada siswa yang jalur zonasi dan jalur afirmasi. Rekomendasi hasil penelitian ini ditujukan kepada sekolah, guru, orang tua, siswa, dan peneliti selanjutnya. Learning motivation plays an important role in the student learning process. Students who have high learning motivation will achieve more. In 2017, changes were made to Admission of New Students (PPDB) and it turned out that there was a decrease in students' learning motivation. So there needs to be social support and subjective welfare which are the keys so that motivation to learn can be maintained. This research aims to analyze the influence of social support and subjective well-being on the learning motivation of high school students with the PPDB entry route in Sukabumi. The method used in this research is quantitative with a correlational design. Meanwhile, the sampling technique used was a convenience sampling technique with a total of 388 high school students in grades 1-3. The instruments used in this research were the Child and Adolescent Social Support Scale (CASSS) to measure social support, the Multidimensional Students' Life Satisfaction Scale (2001 version of Huebner's MSLSS) to measure subjective well-being, the Motivated Strategist for Learning Questionnaire (MSLQ) to measure motivation Study. The results of data processing using simple regression and multiple linear regression show that there is an influence of social support and subjective well-being on high school students' learning motivation. Apart from that, there are also differences in motivation with the PPDB entry route in Sukabumi, the achievement route is higher than students who take the zoning route and the affirmation route. Recommendations from the results of this research are addressed to schools, teachers, parents, students and future researchers.
