Abstract
Sekolah sehat adalah sekolah yang membudayakan perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat serta memiliki lingkungan yang bersih, indah, sejuk, dan rapi. Program sekolah sehat dapat menjadi sarana dalam mendorong penguatan pendidikan karakter, sehingga menumbuhkan perilaku hidup sehat yang mencerminkan nilai karakter pada diri siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis strategi implementasi dan implikasi program sekolah sehat dalam mendorong penguatan pendidikan karakter siswa. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan mengambil data di kelas IV, V, dan VI sebagai subjek utama melalui beberapa teknik pengumpulan data seperti observasi, kuesioner, dan wawancara. Lokasi penelitian ini di Sekolah Dasar Yayasan Pendidikan Warga Krakatau Steel IV Kota Cilegon. Teknik pengolahan data dilakukan secara interaktif dan terus menerus hingga data bersifat jemu melalui pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh strategi implementasi program sekolah sehat yang terdiri dari manajemen pelaksanaan sekolah sehat, penyediaan sarana dan prasarana sekolah sehat, pendidikan bersih dan sehat, penciptaan kondisi ideal, dan pelibatan para pihak. Implikasi program sekolah sehat dalam mendorong penguatan pendidikan karakter diperolah hasil rekapitulasi kuesioner yang menunjukkan rata-rata sebesar 89% dengan persentase rata-rata nilai religius sebesar 91%, nilai nasionalis 90%, nilai mandiri 85%, nilai gotong royong 87%, dan nilai integritas 90%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa program sekolah sehat di Sekolah Dasar Yayasan Pendidikan Warga Krakatau Steel IV Kota Cilegon telah berhasil mendorong penguatan pendidikan karakter yang mengandung lima nilai karakter utama yaitu religius, nasionalis, mandiri, gotong royong, dan integritas. A healthy school is a school that cultivates clean and healthy living behavior and has a clean, beautiful, cool, and neat environment. The healthy school program can be a means of encouraging the strengthening of character education, thus fostering healthy living behaviors that reflect character values in students. This study aims to determine and analyze the implementation strategy and implications of healthy school programs in encouraging the strengthening of student character education. The research approach used is a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. This study was conducted by taking data in classes IV, V, and VI as the main subjects through several data collection techniques such as observation, questionnaires, and interviews. The location of this research is at the Krakatau Steel IV Citizen Education Foundation Elementary School, Cilegon City. Data processing techniques are carried out interactively and continuously until the data is bored through data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. Based on the results of the study, a healthy school program implementation strategy was obtained consisting of management of healthy school implementation, provision of healthy school facilities and infrastructure, clean and healthy education, creation of ideal conditions, and involvement of parties. The implications of the healthy school program in encouraging the strengthening of character education were obtained by the results of the questionnaire recapitulation which showed an average of 89% with an average percentage of religious values of 91%, nationalist values of 90%, independent values of 85%, mutual aid values of 87%, and integrity values of 90%. This shows that the healthy school program at the Krakatau Steel IV Citizen Education Foundation Elementary School in Cilegon City has succeeded in encouraging the strengthening of character education which contains five main character values, namely religious, nationalist, independent, gotong royong, and integrity.
