Abstract

Pendidikan memiliki peran dalam pembentukan karakter siswa menjadi pribadi yang lebih baik. Membina karakter kepada siswa terutama siswa sekolah dasar merupakan upaya yang tepat karena sekolah dasar merupakan akar pendidikan yang paling mendasar dalam menuju keberhasilan belajar siswa pada jenjang berikutnya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui, menganalisis, dan mendeskripsikan proses pelaksanaan dan implikasi kegiatan permainan kepramukaan terhadap pembinaan karakter jujur, disiplin dan bersahabat siswa SDN Batuceper 1. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa-siswi kelas 3 dan 4, pelatih pramuka, pembina pramuka, dan kepala sekolah SDN Batuceper 1. Pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan angket/kuesioner. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan/verifikasi. Validasi data dalam penelitian ini yaitu dengan triangulasi teknik dan diskusi teman sejawat. Jumlah responden dalam pengisian angket 145 siswa. Hasil dalam penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa proses permainan kepramukaan secara menyeluruh yaitu pengkondisi sebelum memulai permainan, menjelaskan aturan permainan, proses permainan, selama proses permainan selalu dipantau, dan menjelaskan tujuan permainan. Hasil responden menjawab tepat sebanyak 85% dan siswa menjawab tidak tepat sebanyak 15%. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan, bahwa Permainan Kepramukaan ini menunjukan implikasi yang signifikan terhadap pembinaan karakter jujur, disiplin, dan bersahabat siswa. Education has a role in shaping students character to become better person. Forstering character in students, especially elementary school students, is the right effort because elementary school is the most basic root of education towards student learning success at the next level. The purpose of this research is to find out, analyze and describe the implementation process and implications of scouting game activities for developing honest, disciplined and friendly character for students at SDN Batuceper 1. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. The subjects in this research were students in grades 3 and 4, scout trainers, scout leaders, and the principal of SDN Batuceper 1. Data collection used in this research was observation, interviews, and questionnaires. Data analysis in this research is data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions/verification. Data validation in this research is by technical triangulation, and peer discussion. The number of respondents in filling out the questionnaire was 145 students. The results of this research found that the overall scouting game process was conditioning before starting the game, explaining the rules of the game, the game process, during the game is monitored and explaining the goal of the game. The result of respondents answered correctly as much as 85% and students answered incorrectly as much as 15%. So it can be concluded that this Scouting Game shows significant implications for developing students' honest, disciplined and friendly character.
