Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari metode kuis terhadap minat belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran IPS kelas V di SDN 3 Nameng, penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode pre eksperimen (pre experimental design) dan dalam bentuk desain one-group pretest-posttest design. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Oktober 2023 dengan populasi dan sampel seluruh peserta didik kelas V di SDN 3 Nameng sebanyak 30 peserta didik. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian berupa lembar observasi dalam memperoleh data penelitian, lembar angket/kuesioner minat belajar IPS yang berjumlah 20 pertanyaan menggunakan skala likert, tes kuis dilakukan dalam pemberian treatment dan dokumentasi pada saat penelitian. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik analisis data kuantitatif dan statistik inferensial dengan metode statistik non-parametrik. Dalam menjawab hipotesis menggunakan jenis uji non-parametrik yaitu uji wilcoxon signed test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh minat belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran IPS kelas V di SDN 3 Nameng dengan menggunakan metode kuis dengan data hipotesis yang telah dilakukan melalui pretest dan posttest, hasil yang didapat pada uji hipotesis yaitu didapatkan peningkatan skor sebesar 15.50 serta hasil test statistics didapatkan 0.000 pada nilai probabilitas signifikansi (Sig) yang berarti < 0,05. Maka hipotesis diterima yang memiliki arti bahwa variabel independen (metode kuis) memberikan pengaruh dalam meningkatkan terhadap variabel dependen (minat belajar IPS). Kata Kunci: Minat Belajar, IPS, Kuis This research aims to determine the effect of the quiz method on students' interest in learning in class V social studies subjects at SDN 3 Nameng. This research is a quantitative research with a pre-experimental method (pre-experimental design) and in the form of a one-group pretest-posttest design. This research was conducted in October 2023 with a population and sample of all class V students at SDN 3 Nameng totaling 30 students. The instruments used in the research were observation sheets to obtain research data, questionnaires/questionnaires on interest in learning social studies totaling 20 questions using a Likert scale, quiz tests carried out in providing treatment and documentation during the research. Data collection techniques use quantitative data analysis techniques and inferential statistics with non-parametric statistical methods. To answer the hypothesis, use a type of non-parametric test, namely the Wilcoxon signed test. The results of the research show that there is an influence on students' interest in learning in class V social studies subjects at SDN 3 Nameng using the quiz method with hypothesis data which has been carried out through pretest and posttest. obtained 0.000 in the significance probability value (Sig) which means <0.05. So the hypothesis is accepted which means that the independent variable (quiz method) has an influence in increasing the dependent variable (interest in learning social studies).
