Abstract

Penelitian ini didasari dengan adanya fenomena berupa perbedaan sistem bahasa dan overgeneralization dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan pemelajar bahasa Korea tingkat dasar dalam melakukan konjugasi verba dan adjektiva tidak beraturan bahasa Korea, kesalahan bentuk konjugasi yang dilakukan oleh pemelajar, dan untuk mengetahui faktor yang mempengaruhi kemampuan konjugasi verba dan adjektiva bahasa Korea tidak beraturan. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif-kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa tes tertulis dan wawancara. Objek penelitian ini adalah pemelajar bahasa Korea tingkat dasar dengan jumlah sampel 71 mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan konjugasi verba dan adjektiva tidak beraturan mahasiswa berada pada kategori cukup baik dengan perolehan skor rata-rata 154. Kesalahan konjugasi yang dilakukan siswa adalah ignorance of rule restriction, incomplete application of rules, false concept hypothesized, dan overgeneralization. Selain itu, faktor pengetahuan, sikap, sistem bahasa, metode pembelajaran, dan sumber ajar dinilai memberikan pengaruh pada kemampuan mahasiswa dalam melakukan konjugasi verba dan adjektiva tidak beraturan bahasa Korea. Secara praktis, penelitian ini diharapkan dapat dijadikan sebagai acuan dalam pengembangan metode dan bahan ajar serta menjadi sumber informasi tambahan mengenai aturan konjugasi verba dan adjektiva tidak beraturan bahasa Korea. This research is based on the differences in language systems between the Indonesian language and the Korean language as well as overgeneralization which aims to determine the ability of beginner-level Korean Language learners in Indonesia to conjugate Korean irregular verbs and adjectives, which error conjugations that made by students, and to determine the factors that influence the learners’ ability. This research used a descriptive-qualitative method with the written test and interviews as data collection techniques. The object of this research is Korean Language learners with a total sample of 71 students from the Korean Language Education study program. The result of this study showed that the students’ ability to conjugate irregular verbs and adjectives was in the quite good category with an average score of 154. The errors that students have made are ignorance of rule restriction, incomplete application of rules, false concept hypothesized, and overgeneralization. Students’ knowledge, attitudes, language systems, learning methods, and teaching resources are considered to influence students’ ability to conjugate Korean irregular verbs and adjectives. Practically, this research is expected to be used as a reference for developing learning methods and teaching resources as well as being as additional information to improve learners’ conjugation ability by knowing the conjugation rules of Korean irregular verbs and adjectives. 본 연구는 한국어 교육과에 재학 중인 인도네시아의 초급 한국어 학습자들을 대상으로하여, 인도네시아어와 한국어의 언어 체계의 차이로 인해 과잉 일반화를 기반으로 학습자들이 한국어 불규칙 동사와 형용사를 활용하는 능력, 어떤 학습자들이 만든 오류 활용, 그리고 학습자들의 활용 능력에 영향을 미치는 요인을 밝히는 것을 목표로 한다. 본 연구에서는 서술적-질적인 방법을 사용하고 필기시험과 면접을 통한 자료수집 기법을 활용했다. 대상은 한국어 교육과에 재학 중인71명의 한국어 학습자로 선정되었다. 연구 결과에 따르면, 학생들의 불규칙 동사와 형용사 활용 능력은 평균 154점으로 꽤 좋은 수준에 속한다는 것을 나타냈다. 만든 오류 활용은ignorance of rule restriction, incomplete application of rules, false concept hypothesized와overgeneralization이다. 또한, 학습자들의 지식, 태도, 언어 쳬계, 학습 방법, 교수자원이 학습자의 능력에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이 연구의 실무적인 중요성은 불규칙 동사와 형용사의 활용 규칙을 이해하고 학습자들의 능력을 향상시키는 데 도움이 되는 부가 정보뿐만 아니라, 학습 방법 밎 교수자료 개발에 참고할 수 있는 유용한 자료로 활용될 것으로 기대된다.
