Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya permasalahan terkait maraknya anak di lingkungan sekolah yang melakukan perilaku tidak sesuai dengan norma yang berlaku di lingkungan masyarakat. Kurangnya pemberian pemahaman kepada anak tentang betapa berharganya diri mereka menjadi salah satu penyebab terjadinya hal yang tidak diinginkan menyangkut aspek perkembangan anak salah satunya perkembangan moral. Upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut salah satunya dengan memberikan edukasi menggunakan media pembelajaran, salah satu media yang diasumsikan efektif yaitu menggunakan media pembelajaran big book untuk anak usia dini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adakah peningkatan pemahaman Pendidikan seks anak usia dini pada penggunaan media big book, serta untuk mengetahui bagaimana pembelajaran Pendidikan seks anak usia dini melalui media big book. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian Tindakan kelas dengan desain penelitian pelton (2010), dimana terdapat 5 tahapan dalam satu kali Tindakan yaitu identifikasi masalah, pengumpulan data, perencanaan Tindakan, pelaksanaan Tindakan, dan hasil. Sampel diambil dari sekolah RA yang menjadi subjek penelitian adalah anak kelompok B. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes kemampuan Pendidikan seksualitas anak usia dini. Berdasarkan hasil uji statistik diperoleh data bahwa nilai persentase dari Tindakan pertama samapai Tindakan ketiga adanya peningkatan pada setiap indikator, pada tindakatan pertama diperoleh nilai 50% pada indikator pertama, 60,8% pada indikator kedua, dan 57% pada indikator ketiga, terjadi peningkatan pada tindaka ketiga diperoleh nilai 82,5% pada indikator pertama, 92,8% pada indikator kedua, dan 92,8% pada indikator ketiga. Artinya ada peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dari Tindakan pertama ke Tindakan ketiga, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan penggunaan media pembelajaran big book terhadap pemahaman Pendidikan seks pada anak usia dini. ---------- This research is motivated by the existence of problems related to the prevalence of children in the school environment who conduct behavior that is not in accordance with the norms that apply in the community. Lack of giving understanding to children about how valuable they are is one of the causes of unwanted things regarding aspects of child development, one of which is moral development. One of the efforts that can be done to overcome this problem is by providing education using learning media, one of the media that is assumed to be effective is using big book learning media for early childhood. This study aims to determine whether there is an increase in understanding of early childhood sex education on the use of big book media, and to find out how to learn early childhood sex education through big book media. The research method used is classroom action research with the research design of Pelton (2010), where there are 5 stages in one action, namely problem identification, data collection, action planning, action implementation, and results. The sample was taken from the RA school which became the subject of the study were group B children. The instrument used was the ability test for early childhood sexuality education. Based on the results of statistical tests obtained data that the percentage value from the first to the third action there is an increase in each indicator, in the first action obtained a value of 50% in the first indicator, 60.8% in the second indicator, and 57% in the third indicator, there was an increase in the third action obtained a value of 82.5% on the first indicator, 92.8% on the second indicator, and 92.8% on the third indicator. This means that there is an increase in student learning outcomes from the first to the third action, so it can be concluded that there is an increase in the use of big book learning media on the understanding of sex education in early childhood.
