Abstract

Di tengah keharusan memiliki keterampilan digital di era modern, menurut data Bank Dunia (2022) Indonesia menghadapi kekurangan 9 juta tenaga kerja di bidang TIK. Penelitian ini berfokus pada analisis faktor yang mempengaruhi peningkatan keterampilan digital mahasiswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan di RevoU sebuah paltform (EdTech) yang membekali mahasiswa dengan 4 keterampilan digital yang tidak diajarkan di Studi Independen lainnya. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus, peneliti mewawancarai 11 orang pihak RevoU dan 10 mahasiswa Studi Independen Batch 2. Teknik analisis data dengan mereduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Faktor yang mempengaruhi peningkatan keterampilan digital mahasiswa berasal dari program-program yang ditawarkan oleh RevoU, seperti mentoring session, career development, pengajaran tools industri teknologi dan sebagainya. 2) Peran RevoU dalam peningkatan keterampilan digital mahasiswa, yaitu: a) Mahasiswa memahami bagaimana meningkatkan penjualan dengan memanfaatkan teknologi, strategi memasarkan produk atau jasa secara digital, dan mengembangkan produk menggunakan data, b) Mahasiswa mengetahui dan menguasai tools industri teknologi seperti Slack, Canvas, CRM, Whimsical, dan Google Data Studio, c) Mahasiswa mampu membuat desain UI/UX, SEO, Copywriting, dan Social Media Strategy, serta d) Mahasiswa mempraktikkan modul yang diajarkan dengan mengikuti magang pada bidang Technology Sales, Digital Marketing, dan Product Management. 3) Strategi pembelajaran yang digunakan oleh RevoU adalah Moving Class, Pembelajaran Berbasis Proyek (PjBL), dan Student Centered Learning (SCL). Studi Independen di RevoU menjadi bekal bagi mahasiswa agar siap terjun ke dalam dunia kerja dan dapat menekan tingginya angka kekurangan tenaga kerja di bidang TIK. In the midst of the need to have digital skills in the modern era, according to World Bank data (2022) Indonesia is facing a shortage of 9 million workers in the ICT sector. This research focuses on analyzing factors that influence the improvement of students' digital skills. This research was conducted at RevoU, a platform (EdTech) that equips students with 4 digital skills that are not taught in other Independent Studies. Using a qualitative approach with the case study method, researchers interviewed 11 RevoU people and 10 Batch 2 Independent Study students. Data analysis techniques involved data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The research results show that: 1) Factors that influence the improvement of students' digital skills come from the programs offered by RevoU, such as mentoring sessions, career development, teaching technology industry tools and so on. 2) RevoU's role in improving students' digital skills, namely: a) Students understand how to increase sales by utilizing technology, strategies for marketing products or services digitally, and developing products using data, b) Students know and master technology industry tools such as Slack, Canvas , CRM, Whimsical, and Google Data Studio, c) Students are able to create UI/UX designs, SEO, Copywriting, and Social Media Strategy, and d) Students practice the modules taught by taking part in internships in the fields of Technology Sales, Digital Marketing, and Product Management. 3) The learning strategies used by RevoU are Moving Class, Project Based Learning (PjBL), and Student Centered Learning (SCL). Independent study at RevoU is a provision for students to be ready to enter the world of work and can reduce the high number of labor shortages in the ICT sector.
