    Abstract

    ABSTRAK
    Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pola asuh terhadap locus of control dan self-esteem pada wanita korban kekerasan dalam pacaran di Kota Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik pengambilan sampel purpose sampling sebanyak 375 responden. Instrumen penelitian ini menggunakan skala locus of control yang mengacu pada teori Rotter (1966) (23; α = 0,69). Skala self-esteem mengacu pada teori Rosenberg (1965) (10; α = 0,845). Dan skala pola asuh mengacu pada teori Baumrind (1991) (20; α= 0,808 dan 20; α= 0,893). Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi linear sederhana dengan software SPSS versi 26.0 for windows. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pola asuh demokratis, otoriter, permisif, dan rejected/neglected berpengaruh signifikan terhadap locus of control. Pada variabel self-esteem, pola asuh otoriter dan permisif berpengaruh signifikan terhadap self-esteem. Pola asuh demokratis dan rejected/neglected tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap self-esteem.

    ABSTRACT
    This study aims to determine the effect of parenting on locus of control and self-esteem in female victims of dating violence in Bandung City. This study uses a quantitative approach with a purpose sampling technique of 375 respondents. This research instrument uses a locus of control scale that refers to Rotter's (1966) theory (23; α = 0.69). The self-esteem scale refers to Rosenberg's (1965) theory (10; α = 0.845). And the parenting scale refers to Baumrind's (1991) theory (20; α = 0.808 and 20; α = 0.893). The data analysis technique used simple linear regression analysis with SPSS software version 26.0 for windows. The results showed that democratic, authoritarian, permissive, and rejected/neglected parenting patterns had a significant effect on locus of control. In the self-esteem variable, authoritarian and permissive parenting have a significant effect on self-esteem. Democratic parenting and rejected/neglected have no significant effect on self-esteem.
