Abstract

Kemampuan penalaran analogi matematis adalah suatu keterampilan dalam menarik kesimpulan dari dua hal yang berbeda berdasarkan keserupaan. Beberapa penelitian tentang identifikasi kemampuan penalaran analogi telah dilakukan sebelumnya. Namun penelitian sebelumnya hanya berfokus pada penalaran analogis dan belum ditinjau berdasarkan tingkat kecemasan matematika siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan penalaran analogis matematis siswa berdasarkan tingkat kecemasan matematis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kecemasan matematika siswa, mendeskripsikan kemampuan penalaran analogi siswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah matematis, dan mendeskripsikan kemampuan penalaran analogi siswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah matematis ditinjau berdasarkan tingkat kecemasan matematika. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Penelitian dilaksanakan di salah satu SMP Negeri di Kota Bandung, Provinsi Jawa Barat. Partisipan penelitian sebanyak 26 siswa kelas IX tahun ajaran 2022/2023 yang telah mempelajari materi bangun ruang. Data dalam penelitian dikumpulkan menggunakan angket kecemasan matematika, tes kemampuan penalaran analogi matematis, dan wawancara. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas siswa memiliki tingkat kecemasan matematika pada kategori sedang. Sebagian besar siswa memiliki tingkat kemampuan penalaran analogi sedang. Ditinjau dari tingkat kecemasan matematika, dari empat indikator penalaran analogi, tiga subjek dengan kecemasan matematika rendah dua siswa memenuhi lima indikator pada soal dan satu siswa memenuhi semua indikator, ketiga subjek dengan kecemasan matematikasedang memenuhi semua indikator, dan tiga subjek dari kecemasan matematika tinggi masing-masing subjek memenuhi tiga indikator, empat indikator, dan lima indikator. Secara keseluruhan, indikator yang dapat dipenuhi oleh seluruh subjek merupakan indikator encoding yaitu mengidentifikasi ciri atau karakteristik pada soal. Mathematical analogical reasoning ability is a skill in concluding two different things based on similarities. Several studies on identifying analogical reasoning abilities have been conducted previously. However, previous research has only focused on analogical reasoning and has not been reviewed based on students' levels of mathematics anxiety. This research aims to determine students' mathematical analogical reasoning abilities based on their level of mathematical anxiety. This research aims to describe students' mathematical anxiety, describe students' analogical reasoning abilities in solving mathematical problems, and describe students' analogical reasoning abilities in solving mathematical problems based on the level of mathematical anxiety. This research uses a case study method with a qualitative approach. The research was carried out at one of the state junior high schools in Bandung City, West Java Province. The research participants were 26 grade IX students for the 2022/2023 academic year who had studied Geometry material. Data in the research were collected using a mathematics anxiety questionnaire, mathematical analogical reasoning ability test, and interviews. Research findings show that the majority of students have a mathematics anxiety level in the moderate category. Most students have a moderate level of analogical reasoning ability. Viewed from the level of mathematics anxiety, of the four indicators of analogical reasoning, three subjects with low mathematics anxiety, two students can fulfill five indicators and one student fulfill all indicators, three subjects with moderate mathematics anxiety can fulfill all indicators, and three subjects with high mathematics anxiety each subject fulfill three indicators, four indicators, and five indicators analogy. Overall, the indicators that can be fulfilled by all subjects are encoding indicators, namely identifying the characteristics of the question.
