Abstract

Keterampilan pemecahan masalah merupakan salah satu keterampilan abad 21 yang harus dimiliki peserta didik terutama dalam masalah dunia nyata yang tidak terstruktur (ill- structured). Namun, kondisi dilapangan menunjukan bahwa keterampilan pemecahan masalah peserta didik masih tergolong rendah. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendapat informasi tentang penerapan Ill-Structured Problem Based Learning Model pada materi usaha dan energi untuk meningkatkan keterampilan pemecahan masalah. Desain penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Pre-Experimental Design menggunakan The One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Metode sampling yang digunakan yaitu convenience sampling. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 30 peserta didik dari salah satu SMA Negeri yang ada di Kabupaten Garut dari kelas X MIPA 1. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu RPP, LKPD, lembar tes keterampilan pemecahan masalah, lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, dan angket respon peserta didik. Analisis data yang digunakan yaitu uji normalitas menggunakan uji Kolmogorov-smirnov, uji-t, uji N- Gain, persentase keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, dan angket respon peserta didik menggunakan skala likert dan persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Ill- structured Problem Based Learning Model dapat meningkatkan keterampilan pemecahan masalah peserta didik dengan jenis masalah Ill-structured dengan N-Gain secara keseluruhan sebesar 0,55 yang termasuk pada kriteria sedang, persentase keterlaksanaan pembelajaran sebesar 90% dengan kriteria hampir seluruh kegiatan terlaksana, dan persentase respon peserta didik sebesar 82,3% dengan kategori sangat positif. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa Ill-structured Problem Based Learning Model dapat meningkatkan keterampilan pemecahan masalah peserta didik SMA pada materi usaha dan energi. Implikasi yang didapatkan dari penelitian ini yaitu Ill-structured Problem Based Learning Model dapat menjadi alternatif model pembelajaran yang digunakan di SMA. However, conditions in the field show that students' problem solving skills are still relatively low. This study aims to find out and get information about the application of Ill-Structured Problem Based Learning Model to improve problem solving skills of senior high school students on the material of work and energy. The research design used is Pre-Experimental Design using The One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The sampling method used is convenience sampling. The research sample was 30 students from one of the State High Schools in Garut Regency from class X MIPA 1. The research instruments used were RPP, LKPD, problem solving skills test sheets, learning implementation observation sheets, and student response questionnaires. The data analysis used was normality test using Kolmogorov-smirnov test, t-test, N-Gain test, percentage of learning implementation, and student response questionnaire using Likert scale and percentage. The results showed that the Ill- structured Problem Based Learning Model can improve students' problem solving skills with Ill-structured problem types with an overall N-Gain of 0.55 which is included in the medium criteria, the percentage of learning implementation of 90% with the criteria that almost all activities are carried out, and the percentage of students' responses of 82.3% with a very positive category. The results of the study can be concluded that the Ill- structured Problem Based Learning Model can improve the problem solving skills of high school students on the material of work and energy. The implication obtained from this research is that the Ill-structured Problem Based Learning Model can be an alternative learning model used in high school.
