Abstract

Proses pendidikan dan pembelajaran adalah interaksi komponen pembelajaran untuk menciptakan situasi pendidikan dan pembelajaran yang memungkinkan tercapainya tujuan yang direncanakan. Maka diperlukannya Design Thinking yang secara aktif memungkinkan siswa termotivasi untuk bereksplorasi dalam memecahkan masalah, menemukan ide. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan Design Thinking siswa menggunakan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning yang diimplementasikan dalam multimedia pembelajaran berbasis video animasi pada mata pelajaran fotografi dasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan jenis research and development (R&D) atau penelitian dan pengembangan berdasarkan informasi statistic. Model yang dikembangkan yaitu ADDIE dan desain penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah pre-experimental design dengan bentuk One-Group Pretest-Posttest. Temuan penelitian yaitu adanya peningkatan kemampuan Design Thinking siswa dengan mengimplementasikan model Problem Based Learning pada multimedia pembelajaran berbasis video animasi. Kemampuan Design Thinking sangat berpengaruh dalam peningkatan kemampuan siswa untuk mengidentifikasi sebuah masalah pada materi fotografi dasar yang diterapkan di dalam pembelajaran. Sehingga, dapat terlihat peningkatan kemampuan dari hasil rata-rata pretest sebesar 42,88 menjadi 83,64 dari hasil rata-rata posttest, soal tersebut berdasarkan komponen Design Thinking. Hasil uji t menunjukkan peningkatan rata-rata kemampuan siswa terjadi secara signifikan. Respon siswa terhadap multimedia pembelajaran secara umum mendapat penilaian “Sangat Baik” dengan persentase 80,91%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran menggunakan model pembelajaran Problem Based Leaning pada multimedia pembelajaran berbasis video animasi, efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan Design Thinking siswa pada mata pelajaran fotografi dasar. The education and learning process is the interaction of learning components to create an education and learning situation that allows the planned goals to be achieved. So there is a need for Design Thinking which actively enables students to be motivated to explore in solving problems and finding ideas. The aim of this research is to improve students' Design Thinking abilities using the Problem Based Learning learning model which is implemented in animated video-based multimedia learning in basic photography subjects. The research method used is quantitative with the type of research and development (R&D) or research and development based on statistical information. The model developed is ADDIE and the research design used in this research is pre-experimental design in the form of One-Group Pretest-Posttest. The research findings are that there is an increase in students' Design Thinking abilities by implementing the Problem Based Learning model in animated video-based learning multimedia. Design Thinking skills are very influential in increasing students' ability to identify a problem in basic photography material applied in learning. So, you can see an increase in ability from the average pretest result of 42.88 to 83.64 from the average posttest result, these questions are based on the Design Thinking component. The t test results showed that the average increase in students' abilities occurred significantly. Student responses to learning multimedia were generally rated "Very Good" with a percentage of 80.91%. This shows that learning using the Problem Based Leaning learning model in animated video-based multimedia learning is effective in improving students' Design Thinking abilities in basic photography subjects.
