Abstract
Skripsi ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya penerapan suatu pendekatan pembelajaran yang dapat berpengaruh terhadap motivasi yang ada pada diri siswa dalam menunjang terlaksananya proses pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani. Dalam penelitian ini diterapkan suatu pendekatan yang dapat memunculkan dan meningkatkan motivasi siswa dengan tujuan agar siswa mempunyai keinginan untuk mengikuti serangkaian aktivitas pembelajaran Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan bermain. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen dengan desain penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Pretest and Posttest Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Subang, kemudian diambil sampel 30 orang dengan menggunakan rumus Federer. Selanjutnya sampel tersebut dibagi mejadi dua kelompok yaitu kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Dalam penelitian ini penulis memberikan perlakuan pendekatan bermain terhadap kelompok eksperimen dan tanpa adanya perlakuan pada kelompok kontrol. Dalam pengambilan data digunakan angket sebagai instrumen untuk mengetahui data awal dan mengetahui pengaruh hasilnya. Dari hasil penelitian berdasarkan penghitungan statistika,. pada kelompok pendekatan bermain terdapat peningkatan motivasi sebesar 0,79%, sementara pada kelompok kontrol dengan tanpa perlakuan terdapat peningkatan motivasi sebesar 8,32%. Dari kedua kelompok tersebut, terdapat perbedaan peningkatan motivasi sebesar 897,25%. Dari hasil penelitian tersebut, peningkatan motivasi kelompok kontrol lebih besar dari kelompok pendekatan bermain. oleh karena itu, penulis mengajukan saran agar penelitian kedepannya selalu memberikan perhatian penuh kepada semua kelompok penelitian. Kata kunci : Pendekatan Bermain, Motivasi This research motivated by the importance of applying a learning approach which can affect the motivation of students in supporting the implementation of learning process of physical education. This study applied an approach which emerges and increase motivations of students aim at persuade students to have an eagerness to get in the learning approach that involved in this study. Method used in this study is experiment method and research design applied are pre-test and post-test design. Population in this study were student grade VIII of Two (2) junior high school Subang, this study included 30 students as sample by using Federer’s formula. Furthermore, the sample divided into two groups, experiment group and control group. In this research, the researcher gave different treatment to the two groups. Playing approach applied in the experiment group, while the researcher did not give any treatment to the control group. The data collection was done in the form of questionnaire to find out the effect of the result. The results of the study based on statistical calculations, in experiment group there is an increase in motivation for 0.79%, while in control group without any treatment there is an increase for 897.25%. Based on the result of this research, the improvement of motivation in control group is larger than and the data analysis, we can conclude that increasing motivation of group control is larger than playing approach group. Therefore, the researcher proposes suggestions for future research to give full attention to all of research group. Key Words : Playing approach, Motivation
