Abstract

This research was conducted at SMK Pasundan 1 Bandung. An issue to be studied in this research is on the effectiveness of student learning. The research core is focused on one of the factors that influence the effectiveness of student learning is the learning environment. Based on it, the principle problems revealed in this research is there any influence of the learning environment to effectiveness of student learning.
This research consisted of two variables: there are physical environment (X) and the effectiveness of student learning (Y). The method used in this research is explanatory survey method. Techniques of data collection by distributing questionnaires with rating scale models, which were analyzed using simple regression. Populations in this research were all students of class XI of Office Administration at SMK Pasundan 1 Bandung and samples taken by 63 students based on formula of Slovin were taken randomly from each class. Based on the research results, obtained information that (1) the physical environment in SMK Pasundan 1 Bandung is conducive, (2) the effectiveness of student learning in SMK Pasundan 1 Bandung is quite effective. It means that schools have to maintain and improve the physical environment conduciveness, so the effectiveness of student learning getting better, (3) physical environment positive and significant impact on the effectiveness of student learning in class XI Office Administration in productive subject at SMK Pasundan 1 Bandung.

Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMK Pasundan 1 Bandung.Masalah yang menjadi kajian dalam penelitian ini adalah mengenai efektivitas pembelajaran siswa. Inti kajiannya difokuskan pada salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi efektivitas pembelajaran siswa yaitu lingkungan belajar. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, pokok masalah yang diungkap dalam penelitian ini adalah sejauh mana pengaruh lingkungan belajar terhadap efektivitas pembelajaran siswa. Penelitian ini terdiri dari dua variabel yaitu lingkungan fisik (X) dan efektivitas pembelajaran siswa (Y). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode explanatory survey. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara penyebaran angket dengan model rating scale, yang dianalisis menggunakan regresi sederhana. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI Administrasi Perkantoran di SMK Pasundan 1 Bandung dan diambil sampel sebanyak 63 siswa berdasarkan perhitungan rumus Slovin yang diambil secara acak dari tiap kelas. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, didapatkan informasi bahwa (1) lingkungan fisik di SMK Pasundan 1 Bandung termasuk kategori kondusif, (2) efektivitas pembelajaran siswa di SMK Pasundan 1 Bandung tergolong cukup efektif. Artinya sekolah harus mempertahankan serta meningkatkan kualitas lingkungan fisik agar efektivitas pembelajaran siswa menjadi lebih baik, (3) lingkungan fisik berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap efektivitas pembelajaran siswa kelas XI Administrasi Perkantoran pada mata pelajaran produktif di SMK Pasundan 1 Bandung.
