Abstract
Media pembelajaran merupakan perantara pembelajaran agar materi dapat tersampaikan dengan lebih baik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh media Gather Town terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Kuasi eksperimen dengan non-equivalent control group design. Sampel penelitian ini yaitu kelas X IPS 4 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan X IPS 3 sebagai kelas kontrol. Variabel X pada penelitian ini adalah Gather Town dengan indikator relevansi, kemampuan guru, kemudahan, penggunaan, ketersediaan, dan kebermanfaatan. Variabel Y hasil belajar dengan indikator aspek kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu angket, observasi, tes, tugas, dan presentasi. Analisis yang digunakan berupa uji normalitas tipe Kolmogorov-Smirnov, uji homogenitas tipe Lavene’s Test, uji hipotesis menggunakan paired sampel t-Test, dan uji pengaruh menggunakan Uji Regresi Linear Sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) Terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar sebelum dan sesudah penggunaan media Gather Town di kelas eksperimen, 2) Terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar peserta didik sebelum dan sesudah penggunaan Google Slides di kelas kontrol, 3) terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar di kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen, dan 4) Terdapat pengaruh platform Gather Town terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan Gather Town berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik di SMAN 2 Lembang. Learning media is an intermediary for learning so that the material can be conveyed better. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Gather Town media on student learning outcomes. This study used a quasi-experimental method with a non-equivalent control group design. The sample of this research is class X IPS 4 as an experimental class and X IPS 3 as a control class. Variable X in this study is Gather Town with indicators of relevance, teacher ability, ease, use, availability, and usefulness. Variable Y learning outcomes with indicators of cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects. The research instruments used were questionnaires, observations, tests, assignments, and presentations. The analysis used was Kolmogorov-Smirnov type normality test, Lavene's Test type homogeneity test, hypothesis testing using Paired sample t-Test, and influence test using Simple Linear Regression Test. The results showed: 1) There is a difference in learning outcomes before and after the use of Gather Town media in the experimental class, 2) There are differences in student learning outcomes before and after the use of Google Slides in the control class, 3) There are differences in learning outcomes in the control class and experimental class, and 4) There is an effect of the Gather Town platform on students' learning outcomes. Thus it can be concluded that the use of Gather Town affects the learning outcomes of students at SMAN 2 Lembang.
