Abstract

Keterampilan membaca pemahaman dan menulis teks narasi peserta didik di kelas IV SDN 209 Antapani perlu ditingkatkan guna kemampuan keterampilan membaca di jenjang selanjutnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keterampilan peserta didik kelas IVA SDN 209 Antapani tahun pelajaran 2022/2023 dalam keterampilan membaca pemahaman dan menulis teks narasi melalui model RADEC. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dimana teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, tes, dan dokumentasi kepada 27 responden. Keterampilan membaca pemahaman dan keterampilan menulis teks narasi ditunjukkan melalui hasil kerja peserta didik. Hasil pengolahan data menunjukkan data nilai n-gain membaca pemahaman pada indikator menentukan ide pokok kategori tinggi, menentukan kalimat pendukung kategori sedang, memahami isi kategori tinggi. Sedangkan perolehan nilai n- gain menulis teks narasi pada indikator struktur kalimat kategori tinggi, kosa kata kategori sedang, serta Ejaan Yang Disempurnakan (EYD) kategori tinggi. Penelitian ini memperhatikan temuan dan pembahasan, maka penelitian ini telah mampu mendeskripsikan bahwa secara keseluruhan keterampilan peserta didik kelas IV SDN 209 Antapani sudah memiliki keterampilan membaca pemahaman teks narasi dan menulis teks narasi. The skills of reading comprehension and writing narrative texts of students in class IV of SDN 209 Antapani need to be improved for reading skills at the next level. This study aims to describe the skills of class IVA students at SDN 209 Antapani in the 2022/2023 academic year in reading comprehension and writing narrative text skills through the RADEC model. This study used a qualitative descriptive method where data collection techniques used observation, interviews, tests, and documentation of 27 respondents. Reading comprehension skills and narrative text writing skills are shown through the work of students. The results of data processing show that the n-gain value data reads comprehension on the indicators of determining the main idea of the high category, determining the supporting sentences of the medium category, understanding the contents of the high category. While the acquisition of n-gain scores for writing paragraphs on indicators of high category sentence structure, medium category of vocabulary, and high category of spelling and punctuation (EYD). This study pays attention to the findings and discussion, so this research has been able to describe that overall the skills of the fourth grade students at SDN 209 Antapani already have the skills to read comprehension of narrative texts and write paragraphs
