Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh teks narasi peserta didik belum sesuai dengan tahapan menulis yakni prapenulisan, penulisan dan pascapenulisan. Oleh karena itu, guru dituntut untuk mengembangkan pembelajaran keterampilan menulis peserta didik dalam menghasilkan teks narasi. Dalam penelitian ini puisi diharapkan menjadi salah satu media pembelajaran yang menjadi solusi dalam permasalahan kurangnya pemahaman mengenai tahapan penulisan serta kreativitas peserta didik di kelas pada pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia dalam keterampilan menulis teks narasi di SD Negeri 1 Sukajadi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan desain Pre-Eksperimen one group pretest-posttest menggunakan objek tunggal yang berjumlah 21 peserta didik di kelas VI dan melibatkan dua variabel yaitu variabel bebas dan variabel terikat, variabel bebas yaitu media puisi dan variabel terikat yaitu keterampilan menulis teks narasi. Dari hasil penelitian ini didapat rata-rata skor pretest sebesar 39,5 dan rata-rata skor posttest sebesar 84,6. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan puisi sebagai media keterampilan menulis teks narasi di kelas VI sekolah dasar cukup efektif digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran terkhusus pada mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia. This research is motivated by the students' narrative texts that are not in accordance with the stages of writing, namely pre-writing, writing and post-writing. Therefore, teachers are required to develop the learning of students' writing skills in producing narrative texts. In this study, poetry is expected to be one of the learning media that becomes a solution to the problem of lack of understanding of the stages of writing and creativity of students in the classroom in Indonesian language learning in narrative text writing skills at SD Negeri 1 Sukajadi. This research is an experimental study with a Pre-Experiment one group pretest-posttest design using a single object totaling 21 students in class VI and involves two variables, namely the independent variable and the dependent variable, the independent variable is poetry media and the dependent variable is the skill of writing narrative text. From the results of this study, the average pretest score was 39.5 and the average posttest score was 84.6. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the use of poetry as a medium for writing narrative text skills in grade VI elementary schools is quite effective in the learning process, especially in Indonesian language subjects.
