Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat penggunaan media sosial aplikasi Tik Tok di sekolah dasar, tingkat kedisiplinan belajar siswa, dan mengetahui pengaruh media sosial terhadap kedisiplinan belajar siswa di sekolah dasar. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan melibatkan orang tua siswa sebagai partisipan, guru wali kelas, dan siswa. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dan observasi partisipatif untuk memperoleh pemahaman yang komprehentif tentang pengalaman orang tua dan guru wali kelas dalam mengetahui tingkat kedisiplinan belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa memiliki akun aplikasi Tik Tok sendiri. Orang tua diidentifikasikan sebagai sumber utama dalam pengawasan pengunaan aplikasi Tik Tok dan dukungan bagi anak-anak mereka. Orang tua terlibat dalam memantau dalam kedisiplinan belajar anak-anak, memberikan bimbimgan dan arahan dalam hal tugas sekolah maupun tugas membantu orang tua. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga mengungkapkan bahwa faktor-faktor lain seperti bergaulan dalam pertemanan, pengawasan orang tua, dan komunikasi antara orang tua dan anak juga memiliki pengaruh untuk signitikan terhadap kedisiplinan belajar siswa.This study aims to determine the level of social media use of Tik Tok application in elementary schools, the level of student learning discipline, and determine the influence of social media on student learning discipline in elementary schools. The method used is descriptive qualitative by involving parents as participants, homeroom teachers, and students. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and participatory observations to obtain a comprehensive understanding of the experiences of parents and homeroom teachers in knowing the level of student learning discipline. The results showed that students have their own Tik Tok app accounts. Parents were identified as the main source of supervision and support for their children. Parents are involved in monitoring their children's study discipline, providing guidance and direction in terms of schoolwork and helping parents. In addition, this study also revealed that other factors such as associating in friendship, parental supervision, and communication between parents and children also have a significant influence on students' learning discipline.
