Abstract

ABSTRAK Manusia akan mengalami berbagai masalah dalam memenuhi kebutuhan hidupnya. Hal ini tergambar dalam roman Kalepatan Putra Dosana Ibu Rama karya Joehana. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mendeskripsikan struktur cerita dan psikologi kepribadian humanistik dalam roman Kalepatan Putra Dosana Ibu Rama karya Joehana, Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Teknik penelitian yang digunakan yaitu studi pustaka dan dokumentasi dengan instrumen tabel data. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu adanya struktur cerita dan psikologi kepribadian humanistik. Struktur cerita dalam roman ini terdiri dari tema, fakta cerita, dan sarana sastra. Tema dalam roman ini adalah dua remaja yang saling mencintai dan janji akan setia serta melanjutkan dulu sekolahnya tapi salah satunya yaitu Endén Hadijah dijodohkan dengan orang yang tidak dicintainya sampai dia kabur dari suaminya untuk bersatu dengan orang yang dicintanya, namun pada ahirnya diusir sampai tidak sanggup hidup lagi. Fakta cerita dalam roman ini yaitu alur, tokoh, dan latar. Alur yang digunakan dalam roman ini adalah alur maju. Tokoh dalam roman ini ada 14 tokoh yang memiliki watak masing-masing. Latar dalam roman ini terbagi menjadi tiga yaitu 52 latar tempat, 21 latar waktu, dan latar sosial masyarakat golongan bangsawan pada masa pemerintahan kolonial Belanda. Sarana sastra dalam roman ini yaitu judul, sudut pandang, dan gaya bahasa. Judul roman Kalepatan Putra Dosana Ibu Rama menggambarkan isi ceritanya. Sudut pandang yang digunakan oleh pengarang yaitu orang ketiga-tidak terbatas. Gaya bahasa dalam roman ini yaitu simile, personifikasi, litoses, hiperbola, eponim, dan purwakanti mitempat rantayan. Psikologi kepribadian humanistik pada roman ini mencakup semua tingkatan kebutuhan dasar manusia yang terdiri dari kebutuhan fisiologis, kebutuhan akan rasa aman, kebutuhan akan rasa cinta (memiliki-dimiliki), kebutuhan harga diri, dan kebutuhan aktualisasi diri yang didominasi dengan kebutuhan akan rasa cinta. Oleh karena itu, roman Kalepatan Putra Dosana Ibu Rama karya Joehana memiliki struktur dan psikologi kepribadian humanistik yang lengkap. This is illustrated in Kalepatan Putra Dosana Ibu Rama romance by Joehana. The purpose of this study is to describe the structure of the story and the psychology of humanistic personality in Kalepatan Putra Dosana Ibu Rama romance by Joehana. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The technique used in this research is literature study and documentation with data table instruments. The results of this study are the story structure and humanistic personality psychology. The story structure in this romance consists of theme, story facts, and literary means. The theme in this romance is two teenagers who love each other and promise to be loyal and continue their studies but one of them, Endén Hadijah, is betrothed to someone she doesn't love until she runs away from her husband to unite with the person she loves, but is finally expelled until she can't live anymore. The story facts in this romance are the plot, characters, and setting. The plot used in this romance is forward plot. There are 14 characters in this romance who have their own character. The setting in this romance is divided into three, namely 52 place settings, 21 times settings, and the social background of the nobility during the Dutch colonial government. The literary devices in this romance are title, point of view, and language style. The title of Kalepatan Putra Dosana Ibu Rama romance is describes the contents of the story. The point of view used by the author, namely the third person-not limited. The language styles in this romance are similes, personifications, lithoses, hyperboles, eponyms, and purwakanti mitempat rantaian. The humanistic personality psychology contained in this romance covers all levels of basic human needs consisting of physiological needs, the need for security, the need for love (have-owned), the need for self-esteem, and the need for self-actualization which is dominated by the need for love. Therefore, Kalepatan Putra Dosana Ibu Rama romance has a complete structure and humanistic personality psychology. Keywords: humanistic personality psychology, romance, structural
