Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya permasalahan siswa dalam menulis teks cerpen. Permasalahan tersebut yaitu siswa kesulitan dalam menemukan dan mengembangkan ide cerita, menuangkan kreativitas mereka ke dalam bentuk tulisan, serta kurang mampu dalam menulis cerpen dengan memperhatikan struktur, unsur-unsur, dan kebahasaan cerpen. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan keefektifan model kreatif produktif berbantuan media Webtoon dalam pembelajaran menulis teks cerpen siswa kelas XI. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah eksperimen kuasi dengan desain penelitian Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Sampel penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas XI IPS 4 dan XI IPS 3. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes menulis teks cerpen dan observasi. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata nilai pretest kelas eksperimen adalah 63, sedangkan kelas kontrol adalah 57. Rata-rata nilai posttest kelas eksperimen adalah 79, sedangkan kelas kontrol adalah 70. Kemudian, hasil uji Independent Sample T-test menunjukkan bahwa thitung > ttabel (t0 = 6,395 > t0,05 (44) = 2,01537), maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan kemampuan menulis teks cerpen antara siswa di kelas eksperimen setelah diterapkan model kreatif produktif berbantuan media Webtoon dan siswa di kelas kontrol setelah diterapkan model terlangsung. These problems are student’s difficulties in finding and developing story ideas, express their creativity into writing, and lack of ability in writing short stories by paying attention to the structure, elements, and language of short stories. This research aims to prove the effectiveness of creative productive model assisted by Webtoon media in learning to write short story texts for class XI students. The research method used in this research is a quasi-experiment with Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The samples of this study are students of class XI IPS 4 and XI IPS 3. The data collection techniques used are short story texts writing test and observation. The results of the data analysis show that the average pretest score of the experimental class is 63, while the control class is 57. The average posttest score of the experimental class is 79, while the control class is 70. Then, the Independent Sample T-test results show that tcount>ttable (t0 = 6,395 > t0,05 (44) = 2,01537), so Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a difference in the ability to write short story texts between students in the experimental class after applying the creative productive model assisted by Webtoon media and students in the control class after applying the direct model.
