Abstract

Modal sosial merupakan modal untuk membentuk ikatan sosial yang kuat. Modal ini sangat fundamental terutama bagi negara bangsa dengan masyarakat multikultural yang memiliki banyak agama, suku, dan budaya seperti Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan memahami modal sosial siswa di SMP Negeri Kota Tasikmalaya secara aktual dan faktual. Secara khusus, substansi tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi tingkat kepercayaan (saling percaya dan kejujuran), jaringan sosial, kerja sama, dan sikap inklusivitas siswsa di SMP Negeri Kota Tasikmalaya. Mengingat sampai saat ini masih terdapat konflik sosial yang terjadi seperti tawuran, bullying dan cyberbullying, social hate, serta intoleransi di lingkungan siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode eksploratif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan penyebaran angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara umum, jaringan sosial memiliki pengaruh positif pada pengembangan indikator lain modal sosial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: a) indikator kepercayaan melalui sikap saling percaya dan kejujuran berada pada kategori sangat baik dan baik, b) jaringan sosial yang dilihat melalui raung perkumpulan dan ruang diskusi siswa sangat kurang, c) kerja sama dalam kontek perintisan perintisan pada kategori sedang, kerja sama dalam komteks relasi sangat kurang, dan d) inklusivitas melalui toleransi dangat baik, namun dalam hal pertemanan sangat kurang. Social capital is capital to form strong social bonds. This capital is very fundamental, especially for a nation state with a multicultural society that has many religions, ethnicities and cultures like Indonesia. This study aims to know and understand the actual and factual social capital of students at SMP Negeri Tasikmalaya City. In particular, the substance of the purpose of this study was to identify the level of trust (mutual trust and honesty), social networks, cooperation, and the attitude of inclusivity of students at SMP Negeri Tasikmalaya City. Given that until now there are still social conflicts that occur such as brawls, bullying and cyberbullying, social hate, and intolerance among students. This study uses a quantitative approach with exploratory methods. The data collection technique was carried out by distributing questionnaires. The results show that in general, social networks have a positive influence on the development of other indicators of social capital. The results of the study show that: a) indicators of trust through mutual trust and honesty are in the very good and good categories, b) social networks seen through the roar of the gathering and student discussion rooms are very lacking, c) cooperation in the context of pioneering pioneering is in the medium category , cooperation in the context of relations is very lacking, and d) inclusivity through good tolerance, but in terms of friendship it is very lacking.
