Abstract

Keterampilan komunikasi merupakan keterampilan yang harus dimiliki oleh siswa dalam pembelajaran abad 21. Oleh karena itu, penerapan model pembelajaran yang digunakan dalam proses belajar harus mampu mendukung keberhasilan siswa. Model pembelajaran project based learning bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan komunikasi siswa secara aktif dan mampu mengembangkan pikiran secara mandiri dalam pembelajaran. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa fase E ULP 2 dan ULP 3 SMK Negeri 3 Bandung. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah quasi eksprimen dengan pengumpulan data menggunakan angket keterampilan komunikasi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model project based learning terhadap keterampilan komunikasi siswa pada mata pelajaran dasar-dasar usaha layanan pariwisata. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran project based learning berpengaruh terhadap keterampilan komunikasi siswa. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukan bahwa pada kelas eksperimen signifikansi 0,00 atau <0,05 sehingga Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak. Communication skills are skills that must be possessed by students in 21st century learning. Therefore, the application of the learning model used in the learning process must be able to support student success. The project based learning learning model aims to improve students' communication skills actively and are able to develop their minds independently in learning. The subjects in this study were ULP 2 and ULP 3 phase E students at SMK Negeri 3 Bandung. The method used in this study was quasi-experimental with data collection using a communication skills questionnaire. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the project based learning model on students' communication skills in the basics of tourism service business. The results of the study can be concluded that the project based learning learning model influences students' communication skills. The results of the hypothesis test showed that in the experimental class the significance was 0.00 or <0.05 so that Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected
