Abstract

Penerapan model Project Based Learning merupakan solusi dalam pembelajaran IPA yang sesuai dengan karakteristik siswa berupa sikap, proses, produk, dan penerapan. Pelaksanaan pembelajaran IPA ini di kelas sangat terbatas waktunya, serta kurang bervariasi model pembelajaran sehingga menyebabkan hasil belajar siswa yang cukup rendah. Masalah rendahnya hasil belajar siswa kelas V pada pembelajaran ipa ini disebabkan oleh: 1) model pembelajaran yang konvensional dan kurang bervariasi, 2) kekurangan sumber belajar, 3) siswa yang pasif saat pembelajaran, dan 4) kurangnya diskusi antar teman. Pembelajaran IPA memiliki fungsi untuk mengembangkan kecerdasan dan perkembangan suswa baik berupa perkembangan kognitif, perkembangan motorik, perkembangan afektif serta perkembangan social emosional. Namun berdasarkan fakta di lapangan (SDN 1 Banjar) kegiatan pembelajaran kurang variatif dan waktunya terbatas, serta siswa kurang diberi kebebasan dalam bereksplorasi dan bereksperimen, sehingga kreativitas dan hasil belajar siswa kurang optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kreativitas dan hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan Project Based Learning pada pembelajaran. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen dengan desain one grup pre-test-post-test dalam pengumpulan data. Instrument yang digunakan adalah soal pre-test dan post-test. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis data deskriptif kuantitatif. hasil penelitian menunjukkan hasil asymp sig sebesar 0,000 < 0,05 sehingga diterimanya Ha (Hipotesis Alternatif) dan ditolaknya H0 (Hipotesis Nol). Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan terhadap kreatifitas dan hasil belajar siswa, setelah menerapkan model Project Based Learning pada pembelajaran. The application of the learning model is a solution in science learning that aligns with students' characteristics in the form of attitudes, processes, products, and implementation. The implementation of learning in class, especially science is very limited in time, Also, the lack of varied learning models causes relatively low student learning outcomes. The problem of low learning outcomes of fifth-grade students in science education is caused by: 1) conventional and less varied learning models, 2) lack of learning resources, 3) passive student engagement during the learning process, and 4) insufficient peer discussions. Science education serves to develop intelligence and student development, namely cognitive development, motor development, affective development and emotional social development. However, based on the facts in the field (SDN 1 Banjar), learning activity in science education are less varied and the time is limited, and students are not given the freedom to explore and be creative, so be creative and learning outcomes is not optimal. This study aims to enhance students' creativity and learning outcomes using Project Based Learning in the teaching process. The research method employed is an experimental design with a one-group pre-test-post-test to collect data. The instruments used are pre-test and post-test questions. The data analysis conducted is quantitative descriptive analysis. The research results reveal an asymp sig value of 0.000 < 0.05, which leads to the acceptance of Ha (Alternative Hypothesis) and the rejection of H0 (Noll Hypothesis). Based on the data analysis, it can be concluded that there is a significant improvement in students' creativity and learning outcomes after implementing the Project Based Learning model in the teaching process.
