Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul “Pengaruh Supervisi Akademik Kepala Sekolah Terhadap Kinerja Mengajar Guru Pada SMK Negeri Se-kecamatan Buah Batu di Kota Bandung”. Supervisi Akademik Kepala Sekolah adalah serangkaian kegiatan atau proses pembinaan untuk membantu meningkatkan Kinerja Mengajar Guru yang menjadi faktor penting yang dapat meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui besaran Pengaruh Supervisi Akademik Kepala Sekolah Terhadap Kinerja Mengajar Guru Pada SMK Negeri Se-Kecamatan Buah Batu di Kota Bandung. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 81 Guru dengan perhitungan menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Metode penelitian ini yaitu deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Analisis perhitungan ini menggunakan perhitungan Weight Mean Score (WMS) dan Statistik dengan bantuan Microsoft Excel 2016 dan SPSS versi 26 for windows. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa Supervisi Akademik Kepala Sekolah berada pada kategori sangat baik dan Kinerja Mengajar Guru pada kategori sangat baik. Analisis korelasi antara Supervisi Akademik Kepala Sekolah dengan Kinerja Mengajar Guru memperoleh nilai korelasi sebesar 0,545 berada pada kategori cukup kuat yang artinya bahwa supervisi akademik kepala sekolah memiliki korelasi yang cukup kuat terhadap kinerja mengajar guru. Besarnya pengaruh supervisi akademik terhadap kinerja mengajar guru yang diperoleh dari hasil uji determinasi sebesar 29,7%, sedangkan 70,3% menunjukkan kinerja mengajar guru dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak dibahas dalam penelitian ini. Hasil perhitungan signifikansi diperoleh 5,778 > 1,664, sehingga menghasilkan kesimpulan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan secara positif antara supervisi akademik kepala sekolah (X) terhadap kinerja mengajar guru (Y) pada SMK Negeri Se-Kecamatan Buah Batu di Kota Bandung. This research is entitled "The Effect of Principal Academic Supervision on Teacher Teaching Performance at State Vocational Schools in the Buah Batu District in Bandung City". Principal Academic Supervision is a series of activities or coaching processes to help improve Teacher Teaching Performance which is an important factor that can improve the quality of education. The purpose of this study was to determine the magnitude of the influence of the Principal's Academic Supervision on Teacher Teaching Performance at State Vocational Schools throughout the Buah Batu District in Bandung City. The sample of this research is 81 teachers with simple random sampling technique. This research method is descriptive with a quantitative approach. This calculation analysis uses the calculation of Weight Mean Score (WMS) and Statistics with the help of Microsoft Excel 2016 and SPSS version 26 for windows. The results obtained show that the Principal's Academic Supervision is in the very good category and the Teacher's Teaching Performance is in the very good category. The correlation analysis between the Principal's Academic Supervision and Teacher Teaching Performance obtained a correlation value of 0.545 which is in the fairly strong category, which means that the principal's academic supervision has a fairly strong correlation to teacher teaching performance. The magnitude of the influence of academic supervision on teacher teaching performance obtained from the results of the determination test was 29.7%, while 70.3% indicated that teacher teaching performance was influenced by other factors not discussed in this study. The results of the calculation of significance obtained 5.778 > 1.664, resulting in the conclusion that there is a significant positive influence between the academic supervision of the school principal (X) on the teaching performance of teachers (Y) at SMK Negeri in Buah Batu District in Bandung City.
