Abstract

Pesatnya pertumbuhan industri pangan di Indonesia berpengaruh pada perkembangan kualitas produk pangan. Maka dari itu diperlukan sumber daya manusia (SDM) yang berkompetensi unggul dalam industri pangan untuk dapat meningkatkan kualitas mutu produk pangan. Di Program Studi Pendidikan Teknologi Agroindustri mahasiswa dididik agar menjadi lulusan yang berkompeten sebagai tenaga pendidik, praktisi industri, pengusaha, maupun peneliti dalam bidang Agribisnis Pengolahan Hasil Pertanian (APHP). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan informasi terkait kesesuaian kompetensi dari lulusan Program Studi Pendidikan Teknologi Agroindustri untuk bekerja di okupasi KKNI level 5 bidang keamanan pangan. Kompetensi yang dimaksud dalam penelitian ini diambil dari capaian pembelajaran dari beberapa Mata Kuliah Keahlian Inti Program Studi (MKKIPS). Mata Kuliah Keahlian Inti Program Studi (MKKIPS) yang digunakan ini didapat dari hasil studi pendahuluan yang dilakukan dengan dokumen SKKNI, KKNI, serta job description dari responden. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dalam bentuk kuesioner (angket) yang terdiri dari 36 pertanyaan dengan menggunakan fitur google form yang disebarkan kepada responden. Responden dari penelitian ini merupakan lulusan Program Studi Pendidikan Teknologi Agroindustri yang bekerja di okupasi bidang keamanan pangan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kesesuaian antara capaian pembelajaran dari setiap Mata Kuliah Keahlian Inti Program Studi (MKKIPS) dan juga secara keseluruhan indikator terhadap okupasi KKNI level 5 bidang keamanan pangan termasuk ke dalam kategori sangat relevan. The rapid growth food industry in Indonesia has affected the improvement of the foods products quality. Therefore, human resources (HR) with superior competence in the food industry are needed for improving the quality of food product. In the Agroindustry Technology Education Study Program, students are educate to become competent graduates as educators, industrial practitioners, entrepreneurs, and researchers in Agribusiness of Agricultural Product Processing (APHP). This study aims to obtain information on the suitability of the competencies of graduates of the Agroindustrial Technology Education Study Program to work in occupational KKNI level 5 of food safety. The competencies in this research are retrived from the learning outcomes of several Core Expertise Courses of the Study Program (MKKIPS). The Core Expertise Courses of Study Program (MKKIPS) used here were obtain from the preliminary study results conducted with SKKNI, KKNI, and job description documents from respondents. The research method used is quantitative descriptive method. Data collection was in a format of a questionnaire consisting of 36 questions using the google form feature distributed to the respondents. The Respondents of this study are graduates of the Agroindustrial Technology Education Study Program who work in occupational of food safety. The results of this study indicate that the suitability of the learning outcomes of each Core Expertise Course of the Study Program (MKKIPS) and also the overall indicators of occupational KKNI level 5 in the field of food safety are included in the very relevant category.
