Abstract

Stimulus bahasa pada usia 4-5 tahun sangat penting untuk diberikan pada anak usia dini yaitu salah satunya anak speech delay. Sehingga anak yang memiliki keterlambatan berbicara atau anak speech delay dapat berkembang sebagaimana mestinya dengan cara-cara tertentu. Salah satu stimulasi bahasa anak menggunakan media flash card. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan gambaran implementasi media flash card dalam menstimulus anak yang mengalami keterlambatan berbicara. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus yaitu dengan subjek penelitian 1 orang anak dengan inisial A yang mengalami keterlambatan berbicara (speech delay) 1 guru dan orang tua A. Hasil temuan penelitian ini diketahui implementasi media flash card yang guru berikan dalam menstimulus bahasa anak A yaitu ditemukan beberapa persiapan pada sampai tahap penyelesaian subjek A terlihat sangat antusias dalam belajar sambil bermain, dikarenakan subjek A lebih senang ketika melihat pembelajaran melalui media gambar seperti flash card, guru dapat memberikan pengulangan kata sederhana pada anak A sehingga tahap pengulangan kata hasil dari implementasi media flash card terlihat dari lembar observasi terhadap kemampuan berbahasa (LO I) setelah dilakukannya media flash card. Perkembangan bahasa anak speech delay dapat disimpulkan implementasi media flash card dapat membantu perkembangan berbicara anak speech delay. Language stimulus is important to provide in early childhood. So that children who have speech delays or speech delay children can develop properly in certain ways. One of the children's language stimulation uses flash card media. This study aims to describe the implementation of flash card media in stimulating children who have speech delays. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. The research subjects were 1 child with the initials A who experienced speech delay, 1 teacher, and the parents of A the research location was at Juhut Noval Kindergarten, Pandeglang Regency. That is, it was found that there were several preparations until the completion stage of subject A looked very enthusiastic in learning while playing, because subject A was more pleased when he saw learning through image media such as flash cards, the teacher could give repetition of simple words to child A so that the repetition of words resulted from the implementation of the media The flash card can be seen from the observation sheet on language skills (LO I) after the flash card media has been used. The language development of speech delay children can be concluded that the implementation of flash card media can help develop speech delay children's speech.
