Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh fakta bahwa kemampuan siswa dalam menulis khususnya menulis teks prosedur masih terbilang rendah. Pada kenyataannya masih banyak siswa yang memperoleh nilai di bawah KKM mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Penelitian ini mengujicobakan metode pembelajaran Edutainment berbantuan aplikasi Canva. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui penerapan metode Edutainment berbantuan aplikasi Canva dalam pembelajaran menulis teks prosedur pada siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Banjaran dan mengetahui hasil pembelajaran menulis teks prosedur sebelum dan sesudah menerapkan metode Edutainment berbantuan aplikasi Canva pada siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Banjaran. Metode penelitian ini menggunkan metode eksperimen kuasi dengan desain penelitian nonequivalent control group design. Hasil prates di kelas eksperimen menunjukkan rat-rata nilai 62, sedangkan di kelas kontrol dengan rata-rata nilai 60. Hasil pascates di kelas eksperimen menunjukkan rata-rata nilai 80, sedangkan kelas kontrol menunjukkan rata-rata nilai 74. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis yang di peroleh Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) 0,001. Hasil dari signifikansi tersebut kurang dari 0,05 (0,001<0,05), artinya H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima yang artinya terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan terhadap kemampuan menulis teks prosedur sebelum dan sesudah diterapkannya metode Edutainment berbantuan aplikasi Canva terbukti efektif untuk diterapkan dalam proses pembelajaran menulis teks prosedur. ABSTRACT This research is motivated by the fact that students' ability in writing, especially writing procedural texts, is still relatively low. In fact, there are still many students who score under the KKM in Indonesian. This study tested the Canva application-assisted Edutainment learning method. The purpose of this study was to find out the application of the Edutainment method assisted by the Canva application in learning to write procedural text in class XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Banjaran and to find out the learning outcomes of writing procedure text before and after applying the Canva application assisted Edutainment method to class XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Banjaran. This research method uses a quasi-experimental method with a nonequivalent control group research design. The results of the pre-test in the experimental class showed an average value of 62 while in the control class with an average value of 60. The post-test results in the experimental class showed an average value of 80 while the control class showed an average value of 74. Based on the results of the hypothesis testing obtained Asimp. Sig. (2-fish) 0.001. The result of the significance is less than 0.05 (0.001 <0.05), meaning that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, which means that there is a significant difference in the ability to write procedural texts before and after the application of the Edutainment method assisted by the Canva application has proven effective to be applied in the learning process write procedure text.
