Abstract

KAJIAN SOSIOLOGI SASTRA TERHADAP NOVEL RONGGENG DUKUH PARUK KARYA AHMAD TOHARI SERTA PEMANFAATANNYA SEBAGAI BAHAN AJAR NOVEL DI SMA Nindita Laras Fatiah NIM 1906176 ABSTRAK Penelitian ini mengkaji sebuah novel berjudul Ronggeng Dukuh Paruk karya Ahmad Tohari. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu memperoleh struktur, kajian sosiologi sastra, dan pemanfaatan struktur serta kajian sosiologi sastra terhadap novel Ronggeng Dukuh Paruk karya Ahmad Tohari sebagai rancangan alternatif bahan ajar siswa di SMA. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pemahaman terhadap pentingnya pembaca novel memahami isi dan makna dari novel yang dibaca. Hal tersebut dilakukan agar tidak terjadi kesalahan penafsiran isi dan makna dari novel tersebut. Selain itu, melalui pemahaman isi dan makna dalam novel pembaca bisa mendapatkan pesan dan nilai positif yang terkandung dalam novel serta nantinya bisa diimplementasikan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Pada bidang pendidikan pembelajaran sastra bisa digunakan dalam upaya peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis pada siswa. Hal tersebut tentunya relevan dengan salah satu dimensi Profil Pelajar Pancasila yang terdapat dalam kurikulum pendidikan Indonesia saat ini yaitu kurikulum merdeka. Upaya pengembangan bahan ajar dengan menggunakan kurikulum merdeka harus terus dilakukan mengingat ketersediaan bahan ajar kurikulum merdeka bagi siswa masih sedikit jumlahnya. Berdasarkan semua pemaparan di atas, peneliti tertarik untuk mengkaji novel Ronggeng Dukuh Paruk karya Ahmad Tohari untuk nantinya hasil kajian tersebut bisa dimanfaatkan sebagai rancangan bahan ajar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif analisis dan pendekatan sosiologi sastra. Hasil dari penelitian ini ditemukan isi dan makna sesungguhnya dalam novel Ronggeng Dukuh Paruk terkait realitas gambaran masyarakat pada novel meliputi sistem bahasa, sistem pengetahuan, sistem sosial, sistem sistem peralatan hidup dan teknologi, sistem mata pencaharian, sistem religi, dan kesenian. Kata kunci: sosiologi sastra, realitas, bahan ajar LITERARY SOCIOLOGY STUDY OF THE NOVEL RONGGENG DUKUH PARUK BY AHMAD TOHARI AND ITS UTILIZATION AS TEACHING MATERIAL FOR NOVELS IN SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL Nindita Laras Fatiah 1906176 ABSTRACT This research examines a novel entitled Ronggeng Dukuh Paruk by Ahmad Tohari. The purpose of this research is to obtain the structure, literary sociology study, and the utilization of the structure and literary sociology study of the novel Ronggeng Dukuh Paruk by Ahmad Tohari as an alternative design of student teaching materials in high school. This research is motivated by an understanding of the importance of novel readers understanding the content and meaning of the novels they read. This is done so that there is no misinterpretation of the content and meaning of the novel. In addition, through understanding the content and meaning in the novel, readers can get positive messages and values contained in the novel and later can be implemented in everyday life. In the field of education, literature learning can be used in an effort to improve students' critical thinking skills. This is certainly relevant to one of the dimensions of the Pancasila Student Profile contained in the current Indonesian education curriculum, namely the independent curriculum. Efforts to develop teaching materials using the independent curriculum must continue considering that the availability of independent curriculum teaching materials for students is still small. Based on all the explanation above, the researcher is interested in studying the novel Ronggeng Dukuh Paruk by Ahmad Tohari so that later the results of the study can be used as a teaching material design. This research is a qualitative research with descriptive analysis method and literary sociology approach. The results of this study found the real content and meaning in the novel Ronggeng Dukuh Paruk related to the reality of the description of society in the novel including the language system, knowledge system, social system, living equipment system and technology, livelihood system, religious system, and art.
