Abstract
Pilihan karier siswa Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) setelah lulus terbagi menjadi tiga, yaitu: bekerja, melanjutkan studi, dan/atau berwirausaha, faktor minat menjadi faktor penting yang mempengaruhi siswa dalam melanjutkan karier dan didukung oleh tipe kepribadian masing-masing individu. Tipe kepribadian yang menjadi acuan adalah tipe kepribadian Holland yang terbagi menjadi enam tipe kepribadian, yaitu Realistik, Investigatif, Artistik, Sosial, Enterprising, dan Konvensional, atau biasa disingkat RIASEC. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh gambaran tipe kepribadian siswa program keahlian Desain Pemodelan dan Informasi Bangunan (DPIB) SMK PU Negeri Bandung dalam minat melanjutkan karier. Metode penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kuantitatif menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif dengan persentase yang melibatkan siswa kelas XII program keahlian DPIB tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gambaran tipe kepribadian beragam, dari enam jenis tipe kepribadian, tipe kepribadian yang menjadi dominan pada siswa adalah jenis tipe kepribadian artistik, yaitu mempunyai persentase sebesar 66%, lalu tipe kepribadian enterprising mempunyai persentase sebesar 56%, tipe kepribadian investigatif persentase sebesar 51%, tipe kepribadian sosial persentase sebesar 48%, tipe kepribadian konvensional persentase sebesar 43%, dan tipe kepribadian realistik yang paling rendah mempunyai persentase sebesar 35%. Prioritas karier yang mereka pilih diantara tiga pilihan karier siswa SMK yaitu bekerja dengan persentase sebesar 38% dan juga melanjutkan studi ke perguruan tinggi dengan persentase sebesar 33%.

Career choices of vocational students after graduation can be categorized into three, which are: working, continuing studies, and/or entrepreneurship. Interest is an important factor that influences students in continuing their careers and also supported by the personality type of each individual. The reference personality type is Holland's personality type which is divided into six personality types, namely Realistic, Investigative, Artistic, Social, Enterprising, and Conventional, or commonly abbreviated as RIASEC. This study aims to obtain a description of the personality types from students of the Modeling and Building Information Design expertise program at SMK PU Negeri Bandung in their interest in continuing their careers. This research method is a quantitative research using descriptive analysis techniques with percentages involving class XII students of the DPIB expertise program in the 2023/2024 school year. The results showed that the description of personality types varied, from six types of personality types, the personality type that became dominant in students was the artistic personality type, which had a percentage of 66%, then the enterprising personality type had a percentage of 56%, the investigative personality type percentage of 51%, the social personality type percentage of 48%, the conventional personality type percentage of 43%, and the lowest is realistic personality type had a percentage of 35%. The career priorities they choose among the three career choices of SMK students are working with a percentage of 38% and also continuing their studies to college with a percentage of 33%.
