Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali nilai-nilai kedisiplinan siswa, proses membangun karakter disiplin siswa, serta faktor pendukung dan penghambat guru dalam membangun karakter disiplin siswa dalam pembelajaran PAI di sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi selanjutnya dianalisis melalui tahap reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan siswa yang disiplin dan kurang disiplin. Tata tertib dalam penelitian ini memiliki posisi yang penting untuk mendisiplinkan siswa. Sementara guru berkontribusi sangat strategis melalui penerapan pendekatan yang tepat, memberi nasehat serta melalui reward dan punishment. Harmonisasi dan komunikasi yang positif antar pendidik menjadi pendukung bagi guru PAI dalam membangun karakter disiplin siswa. Sementara karakteristik siswa sebagai raw input menadi penghambat yang cukup krusial dalam membangun karakter disiplin. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini berimplikasi dan memberi rekomendasi terhadap pembuatan tata tertib yang jelas, penggunaan pendekatan yang tepat, serta menjaga keharmonisan diantara pendidik kepada sesama pendidik yang dikelola oleh pimpinan sekolah. This study aims to explore the values of student discipline, the process of building student discipline character, as well as the supporting an inhibiting factors of teacher in building student discipline character in learning PAI at school. This research uses qualitative descriptive method. Data collection was carried out by interviews, observation, and documentation then analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion draring. The result of the study dhow student who disciplined ans less disciplined. The rules in this study have an important position to discipline student. Meanwhile, teacher contribute very strategically through implementating the right approach, gicing advice and through rewards and punishment. Harmonization and positive communication between educatots is a support for PAI teachers in building students disciplinary character. Meanwhile, student characteristics as raw input are quite crucial obtacles in building disciplined character. Therefore, this research has implications for and provides recommendations for making rules, using the right approach, and maintaining harmony between educators and fellow educators managed by school leaders.
