Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji pengaruh dukungan sosial terhadap career self efficacy pada siswa kelas XII SMK. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 386 siswa kelas XII SMK TI Pembangunan Kota Cimahi yang diambil menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh dengan rentang usia 17-19 tahun. Instrumen career self efficacy yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu career decision making self efficacy (CDMSE) sesuai dengan teori Taylor & Betz (1983) yang telah diadaptasikan oleh (Muthiah, 2021). Lalu instrumen dukungan sosial yang digunakan sesuai dengan teori Zimet, Dahlem, Zimet, dan Farley (1988) yang telah diadaptasikan oleh Lestari (2021). Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis regresi linear sederhana dengan bantuan program SPSS versi 23.0 for windows. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh dari dukungan sosial terhadap career self efficacy. Dukungan guru memberikan kontribusi paling besar dalam pengaruh terhadap career self efficacy responden, lalu dukungan terbesar ke dua dari dukungan teman, dan terakhir dukungan dari keluarga. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of social support on career self-efficacy in XII grade vocational students. This study used a quantitative approach. The samples in this study were 386 XII grade students of SMK Teknik Industri Pembangunan Cimahi who were taken using saturated sampling technique with an age range of 17-19 years. The career self-efficacy instrument used in this study is career decision making self-efficacy (CDMSE) in accordance with the theory of Taylor & Betz (1983) which has been adapted by (Muthiah, 2021). Then the social support instrument used is in accordance with the theory of Zimet, Dahlem, Zimet, and Farley (1988) which has been adapted by Lestari (2021). The data analysis technique used is simple linear regression analysis with the help of the SPSS version 23.0 for windows program. The results showed that there was an influence of social support on career self-efficacy. Teacher support contributes the most to influencing respondents career self-efficacy, the second one is support from friends and lastly from family.
