Abstract

Pasar Lama merupakan peluang yang dapat mendorong wisata gastronomi di Kota Tangerang. Hal ini menjadi suatu atraksi khususnya wisata gastronomi dengan khas daerahnya, namun potensi tersebut belum terealisasikan secara optimal. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi dan menganalisa potensi Pasar Lama Tangerang sebagai atraksi wisata gastronomi yang melibatkan berbagai stakeholder, yaitu masyarakat sekitar, pemerintah terkait, akademisi dan wisatawan. Serta mengetahui rancangan pola perjalanan Wisata Gastronomi di Kota Tangerang. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan penelitian ethnography. Metode penelitian ini difokuskan pada penjelasan deskriptif dan interpretasi terhadap budaya. Adapun sumber pengumpulan data penelitian ini dilakukan dengan melalui wawancara, observasi, studi dokumentasi, kuesioner, serta Studi Pustaka seperti studi literatur, internet searching. Dengan demikian, para Ahli mengupayakan agar Pasar Lama Tangerang dapat dijadikan satu di antara wisata gastronomi yang bukan hanya sekedar menikmati makanan saja, tetapi wisatawan bisa melakukan interaksi dengan warga lokal dan juga bisa melihat hal-hal yang terkait dengan seni memasak di dalam sebuah masyarakat. Pasar Lama Tangerang sangat berpotensi menjadi atraksi atau daya tarik wisata gastronomi yang dapat dikembangkan dan dimaksimalkan sebagai tujuan berwisata. Pasar Lama is an opportunity that can encourage culinary tourism in Tangerang City. That becomes an attraction, especially gastronomic tourism with culinary tourism typical of the region, but this potential has not been realized optimally. This study aims to identify and analyze the potential of the Old Market Area as a gastronomic tourism attraction involving various stakeholders, namely the surrounding community, related government, academics, and tourists. As well as know the design of the Gastronomy Tourism itinerary in Tangerang City. This type of research uses qualitative research with an ethnographic research approach. This research method focused on descriptive explanations and interpretations of culture. As for the sources of data collection, the survey has carried out through interviews, observations, documentation studies, questionnaires, and literature studies such as literature studies and internet searching. Thus, the Experts are working to make the old market area one of the gastronomic tours where it is not just enjoying food tourists can interact with residents. They can also see things related to the art of cooking in a community. The Old Market area has the potential to become a gastronomic tourist attraction or attraction that can be developed and maximized as a tourist destination.
