Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada pentingnya mengembangkan media untuk memfasilitasi peserta didik dalam pembelajaran menulis teks eksplanasi di kelas V sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan media buklet infografis dalam pembelajaran menulis teks eksplanasi di kelas V sekolah dasar. Tujuan khususnya adalah menganalisis kebutuhan, merancang, mengembangkan, mengimplementasikan, dan mengevaluasi media tersebut. Fakta di lapangan menunjukkan bahwa media yang biasa digunakan oleh guru belum memfasilitasi peserta didik dalam pembelajaran menulis teks eksplanasi. Penelitian ini menawarkan solusi mengenai pembelajaran menulis teks ekspalanasi di kelas V sekolah dasar. Solusi yang ditawarkan berupa pengembangan media buklet infografis dalam pembelajaran menulis teks eksplanasi di kelas V sekolah dasar. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengambangan (R&D) dengan model ADDIE (analyze, design, development, implementation, dan evaluate). Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa angket, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian dan pengembangan ini berupa produk media buklet infografis. Desain dan materi buklet infografis ini sudah divalidasi oleh ahli media dan ahli materi bahasa Indonesia. Selanjutnya, produk media buklet infografis ini diujicobakan kepada 19 peserta didik kelas V SDN 2 Parakanhonje. Dari hasil penelitian, validasi ahli, dan respons pengguna, terungkap bahwa buklet infografis ini layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran menulis teks eksplanasi di kelas V sekolah dasar The background of this research is based on the importance of developing media to facilitate students learning to write explanatory texts in grade V of elementary school. This study aims to develop infographic booklet media for learning to write explanatory texts in class V of elementary school. The specific objectives are to analyze the needs, design, develop, implement, and evaluate the media. Facts in the field show that the media commonly used by teachers has not facilitated students learning to write explanatory texts. This research offers a solution regarding learning to write explanatory text in class V of elementary school. The solution offered is in the form of developing infographic booklet media for learning to write explanatory texts in grade V elementary schools. The method used in this study is research and development (R&D) with the ADDIE model (analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate). Data collection techniques are used in the form of questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The results of this research and development are in the form of infographic booklet media products. The design and material of this infographic booklet have been validated by media experts and Indonesian material experts. Furthermore, this infographic booklet media product was tested on 19 fifth grade students at SDN 2 Parakanhonje. From the results of the research, expert validation, and user responses, it was revealed that this infographic booklet is appropriate for use in teaching explanatory text writing in grade V of elementary school.
