Abstract

Anak-anak usia dini yang berusia antara 5-6 tahun umumnya memiliki perkembangan motorik halus yang sudah cukup baik. Ini dapat dilihat melalui beberapa tanda, seperti kemampuan mereka meniru bentuk dan mengungkapkan diri melalui gerakan yang detail. Salah satu cara untuk memfasilitasi perkembangan motorik halus ini adalah melalui kegiatan hias kue Cookies decorating. Kegiatan ini bisa menjadi solusi bagi para guru untuk mengatasi tantangan dalam memajukan perkembangan motorik halus pada anak-anak. Kegiatan Cookies Decorating melibatkan sejumlah aspek yang berhubungan dengan perkembangan motorik halus anak usia 5-6 tahun. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur sejauh mana pengaruh kegiatan hias kue terhadap perkembangan motorik halus anak sebelum dan setelah dilakukan perlakuan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif pre-eksperimen dengan desain One Group Pre-Test Post-Test. Peneliti menggunakan alat pengukur kemampuan motorik halus pada 10 anak usia 5-6 tahun di RA Nurul Hikmah Cikalang Tengah. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan hias kue memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap perkembangan motorik halus anak usia 5-6 tahun. Terdapat peningkatan sebesar 31% dari hasil Pre-Test sebelum kegiatan hingga 55% pada Post-Test setelah kegiatan. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa nilai (α) sebesar 0,00, yang lebih kecil daripada 0,05. Oleh karena itu menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara rata-rata hasil Pre-Test dan Post-Test dalam kemampuan motorik halus anak usia dini. Sebagai kesimpulan, kegiatan hias kue (Cookies decorating) memiliki dampak positif dan berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan perkembangan motorik halus anak usia 5-6 tahun di RA Nurul Hikmah Cikalang Tengah. Early childhood children aged 5-6 years generally have well-developed fine motor skills. This can be observed through several signs, such as their ability to imitate shapes and express themselves through detailed movements. One way to facilitate the development of fine motor skills is through cookie decorating activities. This activity can serve as a solution for teachers to address challenges in advancing fine motor development in children. Cookies decorating activities involve several aspects related to the fine motor development of children aged 5-6 years. The goal of this activity is to enhance fine motor skills in children, which require good hand coordination. Additionally, this activity can stimulate the creativity and imagination of children. This study aims to measure the extent to which cookie decorating activities influence the development of fine motor skills in children before and after the intervention. The research method employed is a quantitative pre-experimental method with a One Group Pre-Test Post-Test design. Researchers utilized a tool to measure fine motor skills in 10 children aged 5-6 years at RA Nurul Hikmah Cikalang Tengah. The study was conducted for approximately 1 month, and the results indicated that cookie decorating activities have a positive influence on the fine motor development of children aged 5-6 years. There was an increase of 31% from the Pre-Test results before the activity to 55% in the Post-Test results after the activity. The results of the hypothesis test showed that the value of (α) is 0.001, which is smaller than 0.05. Therefore, the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected, and the alternative hypothesis (H) is accepted, indicating a significant difference between the average Pre-Test and Post-Test results in the fine motor skills of early childhood children. In conclusion, cookie decorating activities have a positive impact on enhancing the fine motor development of children aged 5-6 years at RA Nurul Hikmah Cikalang Tengah.
