Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak dari penerapan model ProjectxBased Learning (PjBL) dapat memengaruhi perkembangan Emotional Quotient (EQ) pesertaxdidik. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuasi-eksperimen dengan pretest-posttest control group design. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari dua kelas yakni kelasxeksperimen yang diberikan treatment dengan pembelajaran model PjBL dan kelasxkontrol yang melaksanakan pembelajaran konvensional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pesertaxdidik yang mendapatkan pembelajaran dengan model PjBL mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan dalam EQ peserta didik dibandingkan dengan kelompok kontrol. Penelitian ini memberikan bukti empiris yang mendukung model PjBL dalam meningkatkan kecerdasan emosi pesertaxdidik. Temuan ini memiliki implikasi penting bagi para pendidik dan pengambil kebijakan dalam mempertimbangkan model pembelajaran inovatif yang dapat meningkatkan aspek sosial dan emosional pesertaxdidik di sekolah. This study aims to analyze the impact of the implementation of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model can affect the development of Emotional Quotient (EQ) of participants educators. This research is a quasi-experimental research with pretest-posttest control group design. The research sample consisted of two classes, namely the experimental class which was given treatment with the PjBL learning model and the control class which carried out conventional learning. The results showed that the students who received learning with PjBL model experienced significant improvement in their EQ compared to the control group. This study provides empirical evidence supporting the PjBL model in improving the emotional intelligence of learners. The findings have important implications for educators and policy makers in considering innovative learning models that can improve the social and emotional aspects of learners in schools.
