Abstract
Praktik kerja industri atau prakerin salah satu tuntutan pembelajaran yang harus dilaksanakan oleh siswa SMK. Pada acuan pelaksanaan prakerin SMK PPN Tanjung Sari tencantum bahwa soft skill merupakan tuntutan yang perlu dipersiapkan oleh siswa dalam pelaksanaan prakerin. Belum adanya penelitian mengenai atribut soft skill apa saja yang dituntut oleh industri dan bagaimana kesesuaian soft skill siswa dengan soft skill yang diinginkan oleh industri. Tujuan penelitian ini mengetahui atribut soft skill apa yang belum sesuai pada siswa yang melaksanakan prakerin sesuai dengan yang diinginkan oleh industri. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan populasi tempat pelaksanaan prakerin siswa SMK PPN Tanjung Sari Prodi APHP tahun pelaksanaan 2022 dan sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 6 industri. Pengambilan data menggunakan metode angket dengan hasil uji validitas layak digunakan berdasarkan pertimbangan expert judgement. Analisis data menggunakan teknik urutan kebutuhan industri dan statistik deskriptif dengan perhitungan mean. Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan software Microsoft Excel. Hasil pembahasan diketahui, terdapat 6 prioritas utama tuntutan industri terhadap soft skill siswa yaitu aspek tanggung jawab, etika, kejujuran, disiplin, komunikasi dan kerjasama. Keseluruhan aspek soft skill sudah sesuai, tetapi terdapat temuan tidak sesuainya antara soft skill yang dituntut industri dengan soft skill yang dimiliki oleh siswa yaitu soft skill kerjasama. Saran yang diberikan kepada pihak SMK PPN Tanjung Sari yaitu mempertahankan aspek soft skill pada kategori sangat baik, meningkatkan aspek soft skill pada kategori baik, memperbaiki aspek soft skill pada kategori kurang baik yaitu aspek soft skill kerjasama, serta melakukan pelatihan tambahan sebelum pelaksanaan praktik kerja industri.; Industrial work practice or internship is a required learning method in vocational high school, including in SMK PPN Tanjung Sari. In The Internship Implementation Guindance of SMK Tanjung Sari, soft skills are one of the competencies that have to be prepared by all students. There is no research for what soft skill attributes are required by the industry and how the suitability of student soft skills with the soft skills desired by the industry. The purpose of this research is to find out what soft skill attributes, which are not yet suitable for students who carry out internships as desired by the industry. This research is a quantitative descriptive study with the population of the place of implementation of practical work students of vocational high school PPN Tanjung Sari APHP Study Program in the implementation year 2022 and the sample of this study amounted to 6 industries. Data collection uses the questionnaire method with the results of the validity test feasible to use based on experts judgment. Data analysis used industry needs ranking techniques and descriptive statistics with mean calculations. Data processing with Microsoft Excel software. The results of the discussion found that there are 6 main priorities of industry demands for student soft skills, namely aspects of responsibility, work ethics, honesty, discipline, communication and teamworks. All aspects of soft skills are in accordance, but there are several discrepancies between the soft skills demanded by the industry and the soft skills possessed by students, namely the soft skills of teamwok. Recommendation action for SMK PPN Tanjung Sari to maintain soft skill including very good category, improve soft skill including good category, improve the gap of students soft skill especially for teamwork soft skill, and conducting internal training before internship.
