Abstract

Penelitian skripsi ini dilatar belakangi dengan adanya permasalahan dimana kondisi pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia dalam materi meringkas teks eksplanasi di sekolah SD Kristen Harapan Bagi Bangsa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional atau yang tidak sesuai sehingga banyak peserta didik di sekolah tersebut yang dalam proses pembelajarannya kurang aktif dan kurang mengerti dalam memahami materi pembelajaran sehingga membuat hasil belajar yang kurang memuaskan. Penelitian ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Contextual Teaching and Learning terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar keterampilan menulis ringkasan teks eksplanasi pada peserta didik kelas V di SD Kristen Harapan Bagi Bangsa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode Pre-Experimental Design bentuk One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini kelas V dengan jumlah 27 peserta didik yang mengikuti Pretest dan Posttest. Hasil analisis yang diperoleh dengan program PASW Statistics 25 menunjukkan skor rata-rata Posttest peserta didik pada saat Pretest 10,62 dan pada saat Posttest 17,37. Hasil pengujian menggunakan regresi linear sederhana diperoleh sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,00 < α=0,05 dan pengaruh sebesar 26,9% dengan kesimpulan bahwa H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima sehingga menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh model pembelajaran Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) terhadap peningkatan keterampilan menulis ringkasan teks eksplanasi kelas V di SD Kristen Harapan Bagi Bangsa. The background of this thesis research is the existence of problems where the learning conditions of Indonesian in the material summarizing explanatory texts at SD Kristen Harapan Bagi Bangsa use conventional or inappropriate learning models so that many students in the school are less active in the learning process and do not understand in understanding the learning material so as to make learning outcomes unsatisfactory. This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the effect of the Contextual Teaching and Learning model on improving learning outcomes in text summary writing skills explanation to fifth grade students at SD Kristen Harapan Bagi Bangsa. This study uses a quantitative approach with the Pre-Experimental Design method in the form of One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The sample used in this study was class V with a total of 27 students participating in pretest and posttest. The results of the analysis obtained with the PASW Statistics version 25 program show an average score of Posttest students at the time Pretest 10.62 and Posttest 17,37. The test results using simple linear regression obtained sig. (2-tailed) of 0.00 < α = 0.05 and an effect of 26.9% with the conclusion that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted so show that there is an influence of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning model on improving text summary writing skills explanation to fifth grade students at SD Kristen Harapan Bagi Bangsa.
