Abstract

Berkembangnya teknologi informasi dunia pendidikan saat ini, proses pembelajaran sangat membutuhkan media. Kehadiran media dibutuhkan bagi guru maupun peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media stop motion terhadap motivasi belajar peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian non-equivalent control group design. Subjek penelitian ini adalah kelas XI.9 IPS sebagai kelas kontrol dan XI.10 IPS sebagai kelas eksperimen. Adapun variabel bebas (X) yaitu media pembelajaran stop motion dan variabel terikat (Y) yaitu motivasi belajar peserta didik. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa kuesioner/angket. Teknik analisis data yaitu menggunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, uji hipotesis (uji t), dan uji regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada rumusan masalah 1 memiliki probabilitas 0,003, karena probabilitas < 0,05 maka Ho ditolak Ha diterima, kesimpulannya penggunaan video animasi stop motion dapat memberikan perubahan motivasi belajar siswa di kelas eksperimen. Hasil rumusan masalah 2 memiliki probabilitas 0,100, karena probabilitas > 0,05 maka Ho diterima Ha ditolak, kesimpulannya penggunaan media power point tidak memberikan banyak perubahan motivasi belajar siswa di kelas kontrol. Berdasarkan hasil uji regresi linear sederhana diperoleh nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,032 artinya kurang dari 0,05. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa stop motion sebagai media pembelajaran berpengaruh terhadap motivasi belajar peserta didik. The development of information technology in the world of education today, the learning process really needs media. The presence of media is needed for teachers and students. This study aims to determine the effect of using stop motion media on students' learning motivation. This study used a quasi-experimental method with a non-equivalent control group design. The subjects of this study were class XI.9 IPS as the control class and XI.10 IPS as the experimental class. The independent variable (X) is stop motion learning media and the dependent variable (Y) is students' learning motivation. The instrument used is a questionnaire / questionnaire. Data analysis techniques are using the normality test, homogeneity test, hypothesis testing (t test), and simple linear regression test. The results showed that in problem formulation 1 it had a probability of 0.003, because probability <0.05 then Ho was rejected Ha was accepted, in conclusion the use of stop motion animation videos can provide changes in students' learning motivation in the experimental class. The results of problem formulation 2 have a probability of 0.100, because probability > 0.05 then Ho is accepted by Ha is rejected, in conclusion the use of power point media does not provide much change in student learning motivation in the control class. Based on the results of the simple linear regression test, a significance value of 0.032 is obtained, which means less than 0.05. It can be interpreted that stop motion as a learning medium has an effect on students' learning motivation.
