Abstract
Physical self concept yakni persepsi yang menunjukkan gambaran intervensi dari suatu domain jasmani. Penelitian ini menggunakan permainan tradisional sebagai perlakuan untuk melihat adanya pengembangan physical self concept pada peserta didik. Permainan tradisional yang digunakan pada penelitian ini mencakup beberapa permainan, yakni engklek, engrang, dan balap karung. Desain penelitian yang digunakan yakni penelitian tindakan kelas. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif. Instrumen yang digunakan yakni kuesioner, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini melibatkan siswa di salah satu SD Negeri Kota Bandung, dengan jumlah sampel 36 siswa yang merupakan siswa kelas V. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan terdapat peningkatan dalam angket physical self concept, siklus 1 tindakan 1 sebesar 53.36%, siklus 1 tindakan 2 sebesar 54.36%, siklus 2 tindakan 1 sebesar 55.57%, dan siklus 2 tindakan 2 sebesar 56.13%. Kesimpulan dari penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengembangan physical self concept siswa melalui aktivitas permainan tradisional sehingga terdapat perubahan peserta didik dalam mengikuti proses pembelajaran serta mengalami peningkatan physical self concept. The physical self concept is the perception that refers to the interpretation of a physical domain. This study used traditional games as a treatment to see the development of self-confidence in students. The traditional games used in this study included several games, namely crank, engrang, and sack race. The research design used was classroom action research. This research used a type of quantitative descriptive approach. The instruments used were questionnaires, observation, and documentation. This research involved students, with a total sample of 36 students who were Grade V students. The results of this study showed an increase in the physical self-concept questionnaire, cycle 1 action 1 was 53.36%, cycle 1 action 2 was 54.36%, cycle 2 action 1 of 55.57%, and cycle 2 of action 2 of 56.13%. The conclusion of the research shows that there is a development of students' physical self-concept through traditional game activities so that there are changes in students participating in the learning process and experiencing an increase in physical self-concept.
